Al Mulino is a small family owned business. We enjoyed our stay. It was a very peaceful place. Loved the orchard. We had lunch twice at the hotel and we really loved it. It was very simple but really good. For breakfast they also offer different types of homemade cakes and homemade Jelly .

We recently stayed at Al Mulino and enjoyed our visit immensely. This small lovely hotel is located in the quiet countryside, about a 20 minute walk to the crowded, touristy town of Anacapri. If you seek to visit a gorgeous quiet location surrounded by lemon trees, this is the place for you. As other reviewers mentioned, you will need to take a cab or bus to other locations on Capri, such as the ferry dock and beaches. But Simona and others readily recommended several fantastic restaurants that provided free round trip pick up service. She also set us up with a wonderful private 3 hour circumnavigation of Capri, including a visit to the Blue Grotto and swimming from the boat - fantastic!

This tucked-away utopia is a little off the beaten path and well worth it. I would come back to Capri just to stay here again. For starters, Simona and her family are quite possibly the nicest people in Italy. From the moment I made the reservation until the moment we left, they were nothing but accommodating and wonderful. She made sure that we saw the best popular spots and even went out of her way to alter our boat trip so that we could maximize our time and experience. Vittorio is the adorable and spunky family dog and we had great fun in the mornings throwing a lemon for him to chase. The property is nothing short of spectacular. Aside from the spotless and well-appointed rooms, you are immersed in lemon, orange, and loquat trees as well as just about every other plant and flower you can imagine. The fragrance is intoxicating! Waking up and sitting on the front patio with a delicious breakfast and cup of coffee was just dreamy. I felt like someone should pinch me. The bus stop is a quick walk to get up to town and we walked the 15 or so minutes back down to the hotel each time. It takes about 10 minutes via bus to get to Anacapri and about 30 total to get into Capri town. The buses are very user-friendly and Simona helped us navigate them with ease. Amazing country side family run hotel with a lot of love and good vibes. The garden surrounding the hotel is absolutely beautiful animals are playing in it and you feel like you are lost in paradise. The family that runs the hotel is very warm and welcoming and tries to fulfill any wishes before you even vocalize them. I can recommend anybody to stay at this fantastic place as is far away from all the tourists and gives you a real taste of the island life. 12 from 10 points a lot of brownie points for the nice breakfast and the amazing staff. We never wanted to leave and we hope to come back soon

The hotel is very great. Rooms are very clean, modern and large. It is a little bit outside the city center. However, you can walk (15 min), or take a bus (bus stop is next to the hotel). Also many restaurants are picking you up for free at the hotel. Just ask at the reception. The hotel team is very friendly and service oriented (might be one of the best experience i ever had). The hotel team is supporting you 24/7 with every question and support you need. They also helped us with the transfer from Capri habour to the hotel. Also the breakfast is very delicious and fresh / homemade. We will come back!

What a stunning place to stay! Al Mulino was beautiful, the room was nice, spacious, and comfortable, it was in a more secluded area which gave it a peaceful vibe, it had a nice pool and garden, a lovely breakfast AND our hosts made us feel like friends rather than guests. I never write reviews, but I wanted to share with everyone how much I enjoyed my time at Al Mulino. I felt like I was staying in my best friends cottage. The service is as good as you can get and the property is nicely removed from all the tourism in central Capri. If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the island then look no further. Happy travels!

As I have stated when I have left the hotel, the main thing about the hotel is the atmosphere, staying there you feel like visiting old friends. The hotel is in a calm neighborhood in Anacapri, but close to bus stop so it is easy to get to any place in the island (Capri and Anacapri). Good rooms and breakfast, specially the homemade cakes and fruits from the garden. Thanks to Simona, Antonietta and team for the nice days we have spent with you. Highly recommended.

Why can't more hotels be like this? We arrived in Capri to find the marina ti be an absolute mad house. With the chance of getting on the bus near zero and the taxis wanting 45 euro for the two of us we called the hotel for advice. They told us to wait and they would come and get us. This was the start of the great friendly service we received at the hotel. Everyone was fantastic from the owner and kitchen staff to the lemon fetching dog Vittorio! Our room was spacious, had great air con and was very clean. It had a private terrace space with two Sun beds if you didn't want to lie by the pool. Breakfast was excellent and was mostly all home made. The hotel is well located being in walking distance to the blue grotto and Anacapri old town. There are buses nearby if you don't want to walk. Finally, the gardens around the hotel are spectacular! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. Give Vittorio a pat for me when you get there.…
