My husband and I stayed at La Cantonella for a month summer 2015 - my daugther and her friend for some days. The Romei-family gave us a fantastic service during our stay. We can recommend this B&B Ellen Thomsen, Aalborg, Denmark

I stayed there with a friend for 4 nights. The b&B is 10 minutes walk from the train station, the house is ok with very steep stairs. The room quite small and do not have any other facilities like kettle for water or tea, tv, and no toiletries. Everytime when we want some tea, we have to go downstair to...

Dear Creis, Thanks for your feedbacks and we are very sorry to hear that the B&B did not meet your expectations. If you raised your issues directly with us, I am sure we could have addressed them straight away. Please find some clarifications regarding your comments: 1) Other B&B might choose to serve breakfast (which seems your favourite option), usually...

I went to Italy for all of August with the goal of creating my own cycling training camp. I chose to live in Montevarchi because it’s located centrally in the Tuscany area and it is small enough so that I don’t have to cope with city traffic before reaching the beautiful nature on my bike. I also dislike the artificial...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B&B is located in Montevarchi (AR), only 36 km of motorway (A1) south of Florence. Montevarchi is a medieval town of about 23,000 inhabitants, on the banks of the River Arno between Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The town is also home of the outlet of Prada. The B&B is conveniently situated in the historical center of the town, in a small and quite side alley close to the train station. The train line connects the town with Florence( 40 min, 5 euro), Arezzo (30 min 4 euro), Perugia and Rome. There is also a bus service that connects the town with Siena and with the seaside. The house is a 19th century building with original stone stairs, high ceilings and elegant pavement tiles. The house is formed of a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting room with TV in common use for our guest and a bathroom on the first floor; and two bedrooms each with PRIVATE bathroom with shower on the second floor. It also benefits from a fantastic sun terrace overlooking at the town center. Being in the historical center La Cantonella is at only few minutes from pizzeria, restaurants, supermarkets and bars. ... more   less
