Are their any nice restaurants in walking distance of this guesthouse?
Or is it quite cheap and easy to get a taxi to/ from Pontevedra (so we can enjoy wine with our evening meal!)?

I stayed at this location recently and very much enjoyed it. While there are good restaurants in the vicinity they are not in close walking proximity. Combarro would be a short taxi ride with several options in that town. If you do not have a vehicle you may find it difficult. This place was an excellent base for day trips and touring southern Galicia -- the beautiful coastline, small villages, Pontevedra, etc -- but would be hard to see all this without a car.
