I stayed here last week. The hotel is quite nice, the gym very good and the pool not too bad. The rooms are decently equipped and nice. Be aware they have no parking, which is very strange for a large hotel. It's all on road parking. The restaurant was ok, but not any better. The opening time for both breakfast...

I've been to plenty of spas in Germany and Switzerland. This here is way overrated. Overhaul urgently! The spa looks old, outdated and overaged, with rust and oxidation everywhere. some lights on the ceiling don't work or are missing and if you look for the sauna, you've to ask as there is no signalisation. the infrastructure in general is poor...

This hotel reminds us the old fashioned times of the "Grand Turismo" which, if we want to cool down and relax its a great thing. The hotel maybe a bit dated, but the Spa is great. You must stay away of the most crowded dats in order to feel the nostalgic peace of the place

Days of peaceful rest in a old hotel totally refurbished after a destructive fire several decades ago. Very characteristic baths and spa with high preasure. A world class 18-hole golf course is nearby.

The hotel looks tired (the main building is from 1873!). We had an a bit old fashioned large room, clean and with all necessary ítems for a pleasant and short stay. I have to remark that we spend just a few hours at the hotel during the weekend as arrived late at night and departed early in the morning every...

Beautiful location and surroundings. Tons of walks and nature but the place itself is highly overrated. The spa (palacio del agua) is absolutely disgusting. They let far too many people in to get a few pennies more so it becomes a funfair.I'd say 90% of the people you'd bump into are crying children and very old people. It's so full...

The Balneario has large spa facilities. The water palace, which was included in the price of our room, is open until midnight in August. It has several saunas and Turkish baths, a nice counter-current water circuit, and many other spa equipment. There is also an outdoor pool which is very pleasant. Sometimes the service is lacking. For example, after check...

I had been traveling around Galicia for a week with no real destination. Balneario de Mondariz was one of the true highlights. The hotel rooms harken back to another time, so if you are looking for down comforters and cut crystal wine glasses you are in the wrong spot. However, if you like knowing that very few of these types...

The first time we came here in March 2015. The hotel was almost empty, therefore we've got the most out of the service, pools, spa, etc. This time it was a middle of June and we realized that we made a huge mistake coming here. The problem started at the check-in when we expected a room for 2 adults plus...

This hotel is absolutely amazing, unlike anywhere we have ever stayed before and comes highly recommended. We stayed as a family of 4. We used the Spa facilities which were amazing, notably the natural outdoor thermal spring which is the most heavenly experience on earth. The staff were wonderful especially the staff looking after the children's play area. I would...
