Serge was so easy to deal with from the first phone call to when he walked us out to the car discussing the garden the plants with fresh lemons in hand . This is in a quite private location with premium food and accommodation

Perfect location within walking distance of dunsborough town centre. Serge is the perfect host; very friendly, attentative and informative, without being over bearing. Breakfast was fantastic I cannot recommend lanterns retreat enough

Impressed with the room. Beautifully appointed and maintained. All the details were right. All the little things you forget to bring when travelling were there. Serge looked after me and made me feel welcome. Simple breakfast menu, but covered all the bases very well. Have stayed here before, just as good as ever. Would be happy to recommend to anyone....

Superb location with an easy walk to the beach. Accommodation was spacious with a large ensuite shower and bathroom. Patio doors leading to the secluded garden. Complimentary port and chocolates. Good breakfast choices and all beautifully cooked and presented. Our host, Serge, was most hospitable and readily suggested places to visit and where to eat. Highly recommended. Brilliant location...short stroll to beach and town centre. Magnificent historic house with gorgeous decorating. We stayed in the upstairs deluxe spa suite......so relaxing and absolutely huge. Serge, the owner, has such an intense passion, love and flare. Breakfasts amazing!

We had the larger room upstairs that really has everything. This accommodation is perfectly placed and a great base for the Geographe area. It has lovely gardens to enjoy if your sitting on the balcony chilling out with a glass of wine. The breakfast sets you up for the day, we recommend the Newberry muesli mix.

We had a large, light, comfortable room, beautifully furnished. Doors opened out onto the front verandah and the garden/pool. The en suite was excellent, with full bath,...

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and would definitely go again. The room was spacious and comfortable, and very quiet. The host, Serge was very friendly and went out of his way to make the stay there for all the guests as good as possible. Breakfast was way above any other BnB I've stayed at. I would...
