Good place central for touring round but just off the beaten track. Carriages are rustic but have all you need, free range hens came to visit at breakfast time, nice touch! Animal feeding attracted the children. Nice place for children, fairly safe. Easy for parking. Only complaint was that they got confused with my booking.

Management response:

Hi Tess, Thank you for your review. Yes, there was some confusion with your check-out date due to a glitch in the booking system but we believe it did not cause any inconvenience, change to your accommodation or departure date, so we are glad you did enjoy your stay with us. More

Spent two nights here and just loved it. Usually we stay in Margaret River but being closer to Dunsborough and Yallingup we found that there was so much more to do! This little place is perfect, very quite and very cosy. Bring the kids and the dogs!! You'll love this little gem!

Stayed two nights in one of the railway carriages with my partner and we loved it! Very cosy and will definitely stay there again. Caretakers were friendly and accommodating. Was amazing to wake up and see all the wild lily's :)

Awesome place to stay with the family. Delux cottage is so spacious and has ample space for our family of 5. Gorgeous relaxing spa bath and awesome wood fire. Beautiful surroundings, great accommodation and friendly owners. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend to everyone.

Regular spot for us, although it has been over a year since we came last it never disappoints. Always clean accommodation with all you need, near town and amongst some beautiful dog walking areas too.. suggested to all for that short time away from the city as you can just unwind hear and watch the wilderness or wildlife from your... What a great spot. We fell in love with Dunsborough and the Farm Cottages. So perfect drinking our morning tea on the terrace looking into the majestic trees. Facilities where nice and clean and comfortable, bathroom was lovely (spa bath even). It was so handy to town and everything around, but felt a million miles away, the clarity of the... More

Beat place, owners are friendly and can pet and feed the chooks and alpacas every morning. Might even be lucky enough to get some fresh chook eggs for breakfast. There are 2 short peaceful walk to take on the property. Where you can see many birds, kangaroos, sheep and sometimes a rabbit or fox. This place has amazing fitted out... More

This was our third visit staying in a deluxe cottage. Each time we have stayed with a group of families and this place is perfect for this. It's off the main road so kids can roam or ride between the cottages (the standard cottages are a small distance from the deluxe cottages), it's dog friendly and as the deluxe cottages... More

I have just returned to Perth from three days and two nights refreshing break at Dunsborough Railway Carriages and Cottages. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the quaint Railway carriage converted into accommodation. It was most comfortable with everything you need for a night or two away from home for a perfect rest. We woke up to birds churping, gorgeous... More

We stayed for three nights in one of the converted rail carriages. The setting is lovely and the way the carriages are spaced gives a real feeling of privacy. The carriage was more spacious than we expected. I think it would be a struggle to get more than one person on the sofa bed but two children would be fine.... More
