Turning the corner at the top of the road, the views were spectacular. The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment worked well for us, a very well equipped kitchen, very comfy beds and lovely shower. Sitting out on the balcony watching whales breaching is something l will never forget. The beach just across the road was an easy stroll.

We stayed at Smiths in early October, two couples in a two bed room. It was amazing right from the start, Adam on reception was lovely and we were lucky enough to score an upgrade. The room was plush, a beautiful fire and full kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff we encountered. We'll be back...

Smiths beach is an awesome beach with really nice walks around too. The resort is an apartment and villa style complex. The units are really spacious. However, they are cement floors, white walls and cheap furniture, something you expect from a caravan park. If you go bring your own soap dish, face cloth and coffee! The reception opens at 9am...

Dear Louis G, Thank you for taking the time to review our Small Luxury Hotel of The World. It was disappointing to read that you did not enjoy your overall experience. We had a girls weekend away and stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom garden villa - very spacious and was 2 storey. The extra large rooms and bathrooms had all the comforts. The beds were great and I felt like stealing the towels - they were so soft. There was also an extra large bath that one of us...

This is an awesome beach, it has a general store close by for drinks and food. Me and the little man had a great time playing in the sand. It wasn't quite hot enough for a swim but when it is we'll definitely be back!!

We stayed here for 3 nights doing the Cape to Cape walk. The accommodation is excellent. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the living area spacious & very tastefully furnished. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils needed.

This was our second visit to this very attractive resort. The villa had beautiful coastal views. Modern furnishings but warm and cosy. Would have rated five but the restaurant was a little disappointing. The food was good but lacked finesse which given not cheap was disappointing. The restaurant also lacks ambience due to the rather stark overhead lighting. By contrast...

Thank you for your review. I am so pleased you enjoyed your recent visit. It was however disappointing to learn that your dining experience fell below expectations. I have forwarded your feedback onto Kate Lamont. Lamont's normally prides itself on consistent high level food and beverage. I was pleased that you enjoyed our Gourmet Deli/Café. Once again thank you for...

We stayed at Smiths Beach Resort (3 bedroom ocean view villa) over the October school holidays. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and room amenities are sufficient. The rooms are not serviced daily. The resort itself is very well maintained. There isn't much green grass for the kids to kick a footy etc, but there is lots of other things...

Just spent the weekend with my kids and partners and it was a great experience. Fire was lit on arrival in the 3 bed roomed apartment. Great ocean views. Everything except a coffee machine in the kitchen but we brought our own with us. Barbecue provided.

I stayed here in a 3-bedroom townhouse for a conference. The house had ocean views, a very modern (minimalist) decor, very well appointed with modern amenities, very comfortable bedding. The facilities were excellent, with 2 pools, a restaurant, cafe and small produce store (selling local wares). The staff were very accommodating with requests for assistance not that much was required....
