We enjoyed our first 2 nights in NZ at Mercury Orchard. Very laid back and attractive location and wonderful hosts. A rural retreat in an orchard but very handy for the local attractions good food nearby as well. Highly recommended. Very good breakfast basket and delicious complimentary fruit.

Thank you to Diana & Roger for a wonderful stay. The cottage was very clean and decorated with love and many little details. We highly recommend this accommodation including the wonderful breakfast basket with homemade or local products!

We had the unit that is separate from the house and between garage and tool shed of this working, organic orchard. Really lovely to be self-contained and to prepare our own breakfast with the delicious hamper that Diane offered. Lovely to see a family of quail enjoying breakfast with us in the orchard. Plum trees were laden and Diane and...

Accompanied by our daughter just over from Sydney for the Easter break, we spent three wonderful days at the Orchard. The apartment was comfortable, well situated, and contained everything we needed - apart from a bread knife (we like whole loaf bread!) Beds comfortable shower just right! surrounded by fruit trees and hosted by two lovely people and their 3...

Wonderful, laid back surrounding within an orchard. At night you could have heard a pin drop it was so peaceful. Diana and Roger are very friendly hosts and their little boy would visit each day along with Rusty the dog, making it a lovely friendly place to stay. There are two completely separate units and our unit had an outdoor...

This was one of the highlights of our road trip. My daughters (3 & 8) loved the garden with it's swing, sandpit and trampoline, and really enjoyed feeding the incredibly friendly pigs their scraps. Roger and Daina were really friendly, and gave great recommendations for places to eat, and beautiful walks. We would definitely recommend this to families, or anyone...

Our family stayed for 2 nights in December. Diana made us truly welcome and helped point us to some local highlights. The Fig Tree Cottage was very comfortable and a nice supply of teas was highly appreciated. The location is wonderfully peaceful and conveniently located to the beaches and other sights in the Coromandal area. Highly recommeded and was our...

I stayed for two nights at one of the two outstanding cottages of Mercury Orchard which was surrounded by fruit trees. The cottages offer above average comfort and they are very tastefully furnished. Guests are welcomed with a basket of fresh fruits and a heartily welcome by the excellent hosts, Diana and Roger. The location of Mercury Orchard is exellent,...

We stayed in Fig Tree cottage for three nights in January and were very well looked after by Heather and Barry. The cottage is in a lovely setting and we enjoyed breakfast outside on the deck looking onto the orchard. With fresh fruit from the orchard and breakfast cooked to order, what more could you want? Thanks Barry for help...

Could not have found a better place to stay! Among all of the beautiful and exceptional places we visited, this was the best. The surroundings were idyllic. The cottage is nestled among an orchard- plums, pears, and apples. Barry and Heather not only gave us fresh fruit every day to take with us, but provided a ladder so that we...

“We stayed in the Fig Cottage, which had a separate bedroom to the living area. The other cottage looked like it was a studio, which also has a cute outdoor bath with hot and cold taps. As no one was staying there, we were able to give our 2 year old an outdoor bath one evening!”
