Aupres de l'eglise is one of the few places that we've loved so much, that when an opportunity came up to return - that's exactly what we did. Glenis & Mike were wonderful as always. This is a great place if you like to enjoy food, meeting people and a calm place to relax. Great, stylish surroundings, without being too...

If you are considering a stay in the Champagne region, then look no further. This is the place. The beauty and charm of the location is only matched by the friendliness and affability of Glenis and Mike! The rooms are spacious and sumptuous, the upstairs bathroom in the self catering guesthouse may just be the most beautiful bathroom I have...

This is a must visit venue where the welcome and hospitality are second to none in the heart of the champagne region! If you are just stopping over or perhaps visiting the Champagne Houses it's a must. Glenis and Mike make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave. The accommodation is comfortable and unique...

We celebrated my brothers birthday, 7 adults and 1 child, a weekend in Champagne and found the beautiful house Aupres de L'Eglise and the owners Glenis and Mike. The house is out in the countryside but as we had a car wanting to visit different champagne houses it was OK. The house is old och charmingly decorated. We had 4...

We will for sure find our way back here (hopefully before these lovely people move on to new adventures). Driving up to this gorgeous home in the middle of nowhere, I worried that we had made a mistake. Nope. This is a true gem. It's absolutely worth going out of your way for. Particularly if you're looking for a little...

We booked a return visit with Maggie's daughter Emily and her fiance Mike to buy the Champagne for their wedding in May and built up the prospect of our stay to such a pitch of anticipation that disappointment was all but guaranteed. From the moment of our arrival to the sadness of departing Glenis and Mike, their accommodation and hospitality...

We stayed at Glenis & Michael's gorgeous and quirky house with a Group of 10 friends for a 30th birthday weekend! Gorgeous surroundings, delicious food and truly exceptional and generous hosts. We all loved it and can't wait to come back in the summer. HIGHLY recommended!

We hired the "self catering" house, but with a superb dinner provided by Glenis & Mike for the evening of my 50th birthday. Just the perfect place to spend a special weekend! The sun shone, the food & champagne were fantastic, our hosts could not have been better - and the setting is wonderful. Stylish but not over chic, and...

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying with Glenis and Mike in their beautiful home. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable for our family of five which is a luxury when travelling with children. The communal supper was delicious and with great company from our hosts and other guests.
