They have good sized rooms. Found an old shower cap while sleeping in the bed. Not sure if they change sheets here. Bathroom needs updating. Informed the front desk of these issues and they shrugged it off.

A waterfront view from our porch afforded an interesting glimpse into evening life in this harbor village. After an afternoon shelling on Bird Shoals, a clean room with plenty of hot water for showers, soft towels, and comfortable beds was greatly appreciated. The gracious staff bagged our breakfast the next morning so that we could dash across the street to...

The Inlet Inn is a lovely inn across from the waterfront in downtown Beaufort. The inn is beautiful and comfortable. Many rooms have a private water view balcony (we weren't in a balcony room) which we'll reserve when we return. There is a "widow's walk" upstairs open to all guests with a great view of the waterfront and the outlying...

Family and I have made it a point to visit annually for around a decade. My wife and I got married in Beaufort and all of the wedding party stayed here. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast room service and fireplaces are a nice touch.

The Inlet Inn is our go-to place in Beaufort, NC. We stay there at least twice a year. We have never stayed in a room that was not very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast tray delivered to your room on the morning is an extra treat. We like the rooms with a balcony that overlooks the inlet and Carrot...

My recent stay at the Inlet Inn was absolutely divine. The location could not be more perfect, right on the water across the ferry to Shackleford Banks and the wildlife reserve. It is also right on Front Street, with great restaurants such as Finz and Spouter a short walk. There are little grocery stores, coffee shops, boutique and water gear...

We only had 2 nights to explore Beaufort, see the museum and visit the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and the Inlet Inn was the perfect resting place. The rooms are spacious and clean. The view is beautiful and the front desk staff is friendly. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go and the Harkers Island Express Ferry was...

We have been coming to Beaufort dot the past 4 years as a prelude to spending a week on Emerald Isle. We stay at The Inlet Inn for 3-4 days prior to EI. We have been delighted with The Inlet Inn. We usually take up 4 rooms ( 2 overlooking the Bay , one on the second floor ,and one...

We stayed in a first floor, corner room with a fireplace and porch. The room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The porch was perfect for sitting, people watching, and looking out on the water. The Inn was close to everything in town including the Beaufort Grocery Co which has incredible food. Their is also a bicycle...

We are a small family owned waterfront hotel in downtown historic Beaufort with great views of the harbor. We have 36 rooms divided among three floors. Our first and second floor waterfront rooms have king beds and private balconies to relax and enjoy the warm summer breezes. Some of our first floor waterfront rooms have wood burning fireplaces for the chilly winter months. Our third floor rooms have two queen beds and a large bay window seat perfect for watching the wild horses and traveling mariners. We also have some non-waterfront rooms as well as one room with a king bed and two twin beds, but with no balcony, perfect for larger families. Included with your stay is a small continental breakfast with warm muffins, bagels, and orange juice with coffee upon request. We deliver to your room or breakfast can be enjoyed in our third floor widows walk lounge. However don't hesitate to try many of our great downtown Beaufort dining locales, all within a few blocks of our location on the waterfront. ... more   less
