We stayed at Arbor House for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Arbor House is within walking distance to Black Mountain yet far enough away to enjoy peace and relaxation. AH overlooks Lake Tomahawk and is so peaceful and serene. Theresa and Jim were wonderful hosts and made the Inn feel like it was our own home. Breakfast...

I stayed in the Pinnacle room during my stay. The view from their back deck was gorgeous even in the winter. The owners were friendly and gave helpful tips on where to dine in town and with directions on places I was visiting during my stay. The breakfast was delicious both mornings I was there. I am glad to see you made it back to New York. Hopefully, the winter storm in the Northeast did not impact you too much. It was nice to have you here and really enjoyed learning about the conference. Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Take Care! Theresa

From our last minute reservation to all the great advice this was by far the best B & B we've ever stayed at! We were made to feel at home and welcome, the house is very clean and the rooms are perfect! Great applesauce pancakes for breakfast. We hope to stay again in the future. Thanks Theresa! Best of luck...

We were looking for a two-day respite and decided to 'discover' Black Mountain. We made reservations at Arbor House based on reviews. The B&B is located on a small lake; and, as you can see from pictures taken from across the pond, the house and landscaping are beautiful, even in winter. Teresa, the gracious owner, after asking for preferences, provided...

Absolutely loved having you here and the great conversations. My apologies for the businesses being closed. I will mention this to the Chamber to see if there is someway to post the businesses closed during January. So glad you found our diamond in the rough. Take care and have a great 2017. Our stay was wonderful. Jim and Theresa were great hosts. The breakfasts were awesome. We stayed in the High Windy. Quiet, great shower and bathroom - very comfortable. We came and went as we pleased. The butler's pantry was well stocked. We could not have enjoyed it more.

As beautiful as the photos are, they don't really do it justice; Arbor House is a truly lovely space to lay your head and spend your time. Now I see why you are in journalism. What a beautiful review. As always, we humbly appreciate our guests who give us an extra boost. Jim really did like getting creative with your breakfast. This is the first time we tried Portabello mushrooms with ground sausage and avacado puree. It tasted great to us and so glad you liked it....
