If you like the feel of a Bed and Breakfast but really want all of the roominess of a hotel, this is your place. It has lots of charm and character. The rooms we have stayed in are large and have unique features.I do recommend that you stay in a room with a balcony. The staff is young but extremely helpful...

We had a lovely two day visit in Blowing Rocks and enjoyed the Inn. Room was very large and clean. The amenities were very well thought out. Loved having the Keurig coffee maker in room. Breakfast was excellent. Great staff, very attentive. If you like Historic Inns that have the old time feel you will like staying here.

The rooms were large and the beds were soooo comfy. It was fun imagining travelers from over 100 years ago staying in the inn. The staff was helpful. Very very clean. The free breakfast was amazing. Great central location to explore the Southern Highlands.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We, too, like to imagine travelers of the past. We like to think that the previous presidents that stayed, met in the Tavern and had a drink, while discussing politics. We really appreciate your feedback, and thank you for recommending us!

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at The Green Park and highly recommend it for the character of the historic preservation and the friendly staff that works so hard to make sure we are comfortable.

Really liked this historic hotel. The staff was very friendly. The decor and grounds were lovely, and there are a couple of living room areas in the lobby, as well as rocking chairs on the porch, and a garden patio for relaxing. A full, cooked breakfast was served in the morning, and tea/coffee and cookies were available in the afternoons....

WOW!! Were we ever blown away during our visit to The Green Park Inn in Blowing Rock. I drove my mom, sister, and daughter there for a weekend murder mystery getaway. The murder mystery was a surprise birthday gift to my mom. The hotel is FULL of history and drips charm and old- time elegance from every corner. The chandeliers,...

This is a funky old place that looks like it was built in stages but apparently not. We had a large room with a very nice updated bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of options (included in our stay price) and we had dinner one night that was very good. The dining room doesn't seem to fit with the hotel...

After stays in chain hotels this place is a welcome relief! Nothing cookie cutter about this place-large rooms, big windows, spacious welcoming lobby and adjacent bar area. Enjoyed all the little touches (turn down service, juice and muffins down the hall, live music in the evening)-old school for sure but fun-

The graceful Victorian era hotel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been lovingly and faithfully restored as of the fall of 2010. Turn back the clock to a more genteel time when exquisite attention to guest's needs, a polite, respectful and helpful staff, and an atmosphere of quiet elegance was the magnet that drew authors, poets, presidents and first ladies to the cool mountain breezes of the Green Park Inn.
