The Inn had rooms with private decks overlooking a stream. The staff were all friendly & they do a little complimentary cocktail (white & red wine) & snack in the reception at 4pm. It is very close to the town where I was able to pick up some trinkets at affordable prices. It is in the bible belt so everything... More

Stayed here to visit for family weekend. We were wondering how noisy it was going to be, since it is right off the main road. Noise was not a factor at all. Bed is very comfortable and Inn staff couldn't have been nicer. They serve cookies and wine in the afternoon and have a continental breakfast. Downside is that the... More

My husband and I were driving the blue ridge parkway and looked up a place to stay for the night and happily found the Village Inn. We had no idea it was so wonderful until we arrived. The front desk staff was wonderful and friendly. They even helped us find a nice place to grab dinner that would allow our... More

This was a Very Nice Surprise when we arrived at the hotel. The staff was friendly and easy to check in. We love the easiness of unloading our things, parking right at our room. Beautiful views and decorated beautifully. We will definitely come back here. We love the back deack and bubbling creek in our backyard. My vision of a... More

Beautiful little place, ducks, huge carp, and a nice little creek in back. We got a GREAT deal booking through Tripadvisor and stayed in a cottage. EXCELLENT SERVICE! We love this place and will stay here again when the opportunity arrives.

Enjoyed the views around the hotel, but facility was average. Not impressed with room. Pictures on the net looked better than reality. Room was old looking. View from deck not impressive. Breakfast offerings were the usual.

First of all, I was running late driving in, and the so sweet Lilly assured me my roo was ok when I called. She was soooonice. Then breakfasts with Jacob were nice: he hustles to make every guest get the best. Nora worked 3, ar least all of my 3 nights (except Lilly the first one, and a breakfast). I... More

Charming little place with beautiful grounds. Rooms are small but nicely done with wood floors, heavy drapes, great bed, and quality linens. Rooms had a deck off the back of each room. The reception area for breakfast was lovely with stone fireplace and timber pegged beams. Breakfast was adequate with the normal fare. The hotel was pet friendly.

It was my first visit to Blowing Rock/Village Inn and I was completely satisfied with our 3 night stay (we arrived Labor Day). My boyfriend has been there before and HIGHLY praised the facility....so out anticipation was high. With one exception..... On Labor Day when we checked in, Jason was at the desk and to put it nicely, he was... More
