We stayed for two nights whilst exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were met at the door as we arrived and shown the tea /coffee making facilities which were always available. Our room was light and spacious with its own private verandah. The bathroom included an impressive bathtub as well as a shower. Breakfast was served in the dining room...

My wife and I spent four days/three nights here to celebrate our five year anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we could not have felt more welcome. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (as are most people working in Blowing Rock - and not just "nice to your face", but genuinely nice). They had provided a small welcome gift...

It was our good fortune to secure reservations for both Friday and Saturday evenings recently at the Gideon Ridge Inn. To assist anyone trying to GPS this lodging should look for a residential street directly across 321 from the Green Park Inn. Our cell coverage the entire weekend was very spotty and maping was always an issue. We use T-Mobile...

Another great stay at Gideon inn. My wife and I decided to celebrate our three year anniversary where we were married and it could not have been more perfect. From the minute you walk into the inn you feel relaxed and though brief, like there are no worries of the fast pace that we all get caught up in. Although...

Great porch to watch the sun set relaxing with a cocktail or glass of wine. Cozy room. Quiet. Restful sleep. Perfect place for an early riser who like to watch a sunrise. Splendid breakfast. Wonderful dinner at the inn and as a guest, you may bring your special bottle of wine without a corkage fee. Will be back for sure....

My husband found this B&B and reserved it for our 20th anniversary. It is lovely. We loved our room, which had a fireplace and very nice antique furniture. Comfortable bed. We had a private patio, though it was a little cool for it. Our bathroom also had a fireplace and a Japanese soaking tub. We were in the Victorian Room....

Lovely spot. Not close enough to walk anywhere, but short drive to downtown/hiking. DVD player in room and movies available, but DVD player wasn't hooked up. We couldn't get it to work and there was no one available to do it for us. Not a huge deal, but no reason to have it in the room if it's not hooked...

Have only good things to share about our stay. Had the Old Master Room, which was very spacious, had a very comfortable bed, and a great porch sitting area. Breakfast was simple (eggs, pancakes, or strata), yet really good and generous portions. Amazing views. Room was quiet, and located in a secluded area.

This is one of the best B&Bs we've visited. We stayed in the Sunrise Room, which has a private entrance & your own secluded porch with chaise lounges overlooking a mountain view. Our room included a small sitting area, a soaking tub, large shower & king bed. They don't skimp on extras either - loads of Aveda bath products, a...
