We genuinely regretted it when we had to leave. Our whole visit was pleasant and relaxing. A 10-room bed and breakfast, Folkestone offers good value if you're visiting Bryson City, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or even Cherokee. No TV, so be prepared to...More

The Folkestone Inn is an older home, very quiet and clean with comfortable beds. We stayed here 3 nights for a fly-fishing vacation. Since we were out on the rivers all day, we didn't take advantage all the amenities provided, but we were very happy...More

The Folkestone Inn was perfect for our anniversary. Located just minutes from downtown Bryson City and only 1/4 mile from Deep Creek for tubing and 3 beautiful waterfalls. We would also recommend the Jeep add-on to the train ride with Wildwater. Toni and Scott have...More

We stayed two nights in Sept. The Deep Creek area of GSMNP is within sight of the Folkestone, giving easy access to trails and -- if you're adventuresome -- tubing down the creek (tube rentals right next door). Also just a short drive to Bryson...More

This was a beautiful B&B. Loved the concept of the themed rooms. Breakfast was exceptional - great food. At a B&B you have an opportunity to meet wonderful people and forge great friendships. Quiet & Relaxing
