We stumbled upon the Folkstone Inn because of their signage in Bryson City. We were trying to get to the Deep Creek hiking at the Park and followed the signs to the Inn. What a great experience. Toni and Scott are great hosts. The place was very clean. Breakfast both days was awesome. Neither of us eat gluten and they...

Thanks Tamela! it was great meeting you both. We are certainly happy you "stumbled" upon us. We look forward to your return next year, and I emailed the GF muffin recipe to you both. Toni

We arrived to find new owners Toni and Scott settling in and already making their mark. Toni was warm and welcoming and Scott was making magic in the Kitchen; fab cookies in the afternoon and AMAZING breakfasts. On our first morning we had to leave before breakfast time and to our pleasure Toni and Scott got things going early, I...

Everything about this place is just incredible. The hosts - Steve & Eva - are warm and friendly. They really care about each guest and go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a good experience. The B&B and grounds are just beautiful. We loved the porch for enjoying our first cups of coffee in the morning and...

All of the rooms are well appointed with lots of attention to detail and whatever you may need! The grounds and gardens are lovely and well attended. The food is delicious! And Steve and Eva (owners) are very gracious and welcoming without being overbearing. Wine glasses and refrigeration available, and coffee in the morning. What else could anyone need? Highly...

Each suite has a private porch or veranda, a great place to sit in your rocking chair and gaze at the mountains. The inn is a mile or so into the hills west of Bryson City, so it is very quiet. There is a park entrance just a mile up the road with access to hiking trails. When we were...

I'm going to second every review here that states that Folkestone Inn breakfasts are delicious! We stayed in the Lights and Shadows room which featured interacting antique photography equipment to look at, and a comfortable bed. Very quiet, tranquil area, but convenient to town and mountains. We were out and about during the day but were welcomed back each evening...

This was a repeat visit to the Folkestone for our 42nd wedding anniversary. Steve and Eva are outstanding hosts who show a very real interest in getting to know their customers. The Cork and Bean Bistro, recommended by Steve as a good place to have our anniversary dinner, was convenient and the service and food was great. Folkestone breakfasts remain...

The Folkstone Inn is a wonderful, older house set right next to the southeast of the Great Smokies. The accommodations were incredibly charming with porch seating for nearly every room. We were delighted with homemade breakfast every morning and truly wonderful hosts.

We loved this secluded spot just a few minutes from downtown Bryson City. The Inn is quaint and cozy with a front porch that just begs you to sit and unwind. Our hosts, Steve and Eva, made us feel so welcome. Eva's delicious and creative breakfasts were the highlight of each day! This was out first visit, and we look...
