This hotel certainly lives up to its reviews of being very clean! I was very impressed! (Most of the time I do find spots missed in other hotels/motels but not here.). Rooms were a good size. It had a charm to it mixing the older style with some contemporary looks. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I had flown into Charlotte airport from the UK, sister in law picked us up. After a night's stay and a visit to Winston Salem to The Train Shed for my model railway enthusiast husband we set off for The Outer Banks. As it was February everything appeared closed, however we suddenly came upon Connors supermarket who...

My husband and I and our two dogs have spent 3 nights at this motel - checking out tomorrow. We knew the moment we stepped into our room that we would be back. The motel is clean, cozy, dog friendly, and our room is not the run of the mill hotel type room. We are staying in the courtyard area...

We traveled from Wilmington and it took two ferries to arrive. We were tired. The receptionist helped us call a restaurant that was open on New Years Day. The beds are low which I like. Decor is simple and has a wilderness feel to it. The only two down sides is the heat is loud and no microwave. But it...

Clean and spacious room, friendly staff, and Heidi the skateboarding bulldog to greet us. Very short drive to the ferry landing, and good food within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

We looked at all the Trip Advisor comments and picked this relatively low priced hotel for our 2 day stay. I am recovering from hip surgery and need an easy to enter entrance and a walk-in accessible shower. I was assured that there was one unit - the suite - which was accessible, but that it would be $20 more...

We came to do some windsurfing at Canadian Hole and stayed four nights in the double bed, pet friendly room. The room was spacious and well maintained, good daily housekeeping service. The motel has also a small pool and Bbq corner but we were lucky enough with the wind forecast and didn't use it:) Could use a newer and larger...

We had a good stay. Seeing it was pet friendly that helped us enjoy our stay all the more. We knew we were welcome. The staff was friendly and helpful. We've been staying here for at least ten years. Bill & Angie and now Chuck are the greatest!. The rooms are exceptionally clean and perfectly maintained. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on The Banks..Their rates are reminiscent of years gone-by and the grocery store is across the street.. Now how much better can it get.
