My husband and I went in early June this year and enjoyed our time spent at the Rock Laurel. The location of B&B is an easy ride from Ashville, so going back in for dinner is no problem. If too tired from your vacationing, there are small local restaurants nearby that also serve good food. The room was nice, clean...

We enjoyed a lovely 1 night stay at Rock Laurel. Proprietors Joe and Judy took care of all our needs and were very hospitable. The king size bed in the Green Room was very comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning before leaving.

Proprieters Joe and Judy were delightful and did not let us leave hungry. If you're traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this place is just a few miles removed from where North Carolina highway 151 dead ends into the Parkway on the Mount Pisgah Ridge section. The stream that runs through the property, very calming.

My husband & I spent 1 night during our brief visit to the Asheville area...a quick weekend get-a-way. Stayed in the Green room, comfy king bed, loved sleeping with the windows open, cool Fall mountain air and sounds of the creek. Joe and Judy really know how to make you feel so special. I also loved the kitties-Gizmo and Garfield and their lovely pom-Cricket who looks like a little Teddy Bear!! The beds are so comfortable and the view of the creek which was way up do to the rain was lovely and the sound of the water rushing helped us...

The tranquility and serenity that we experienced during our stay is beyond words. The plush Biltmore room, the rushing of the room side brook and the spring blossom scent in the air prompted immediate relaxation. The proprietress, Judy and Joe were welcoming and engaging. The homemade biscuits were melt in your mouth delectable.

Only stayed 1 night on our way to the mountains, but felt like family! You won't find better people than Joe and Judy. Situated at the end of the small road, mountains on all sides, little babbling brook, wrap around porch (all rooms have access doors) on both levels makes for a great getaway. Five star breakfast and good stories...

We stayed at Rock Laurel for 3 nights to explore the Ashville area. The property is in a very remote location by a babbling stream. Lovely situation although a little away from restaurants etc. Joe and Judy were exceptional hosts and plied us with (free) wine and beer. Joe always has a story and is very willing to tell it,...
