We stayed here in the Captain's Room for our anniversary, and the experience was phenomenal. Tom and Rick provided an excellent atmosphere to relax in, and the breakfasts were fantastic. One day, we had a blueberry bread pudding- type of dish and some of the best bacon I've ever had. The next day, we had a quiche with bell peppers,...

We stayed in the Captain's room in the main house. The armoire in the room has a koala face on it, go check it out. We explored the other rooms and all are beautiful. Tom and Rick are fantastic hosts and prepare excellent breakfasts. The evening munchies are great too. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. Next time we'll...

Looking to spend a quiet and peaceful Christmas after a difficult year, my friend and I rented the Balsam Mtn cabin over Christmas week. The cabin was clean with comfortable beds, a well-supplied kitchen, and a gas fireplace which set the perfect atmosphere. The view of the mountains and surrounding forest was captivating and calming. Honey Hill is an easy...

My family went to this B&B to celebrate my mom's 85 th birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and the Inn and cabins were very welcoming. The grounds had beautiful vantage points in which one could see the beautiful fall color on the foliage on the surrounding mountains. We were served delicious and creative breakfasts each morning...

From the moment we booked our stay at Honey Hill, we felt like family. Cheryl and Gretchen emailed us just before our stay with directions and important information, ensuring we'd get there easily and safely. When we pulled up to the mansion, we couldn't believe how beautiful the property was: the mansion, the cabins, and the scenery. Truly enchanting. Our...

First time we stayed here it was due to a Groupon discount gift, it was a great weekend get-a-way. Unlike resorts, the other guests all meet to have breakfast together each morning prepared by Gretchen from all locally grown products and her own creations. The conversations and laughs we all shared to start the day was a different experience we...

My new bride and I had the wonderfully pleasurable opportunity to stay at the Honey Hill Inn and Cabins for our stay in Asheville, NC. The room (Engadine Suite) was absolutely lovely, offering us privacy but still feeling part of the bed and breakfast guest. Breakfast was wonderful, delicious and very welcome to start our day of seeing the sites,...

Just a skip away from Asheville, Honey Hill provided beautiful vistas of Candler - mountains in the distance and sunsets. Although we arrived at the unseemly hour of 1:30 a.m. in the morning, one of our hosts - Gretchen- greeted us with good cheer and checked us in. We had the good fortune to reserve the Engadine Suite which was...
