I booked this so my husband and I could get away for his birthday and so I could have a breather before the school year begins for my children. It's been such a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful. All the rooms are truly tastefully decorated and cozy-comfortable. The innkeeper is very nice and fun to chat with. She is...

In terms of the décor, visiting the Old Buggy Inn is like stepping back in time, with its multitude of antiques and walls decorated with photographs. Although it is situated on a main road, as soon as the front door closes, the modern world is left behind. It took me a day to adjust to this atmosphere but once I...

The inn is very clean and the beds comfortable. Our hostess is a great cook who presents a delicious breakfast in a lovely setting. We even had homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us after an evening out!

I came with an Aunt to visit my sister & we selected the Old Buggy Inn as I was familiar with the B&B's existence. Our stay was perfect for our family. We had luckily selected the weekend of the Buggy Festival, because I have babies & it is the only weekend when children may stay. The rooms really are quite...

We got married at the Old Buggy Inn and it was just perfect! The Victorian décor was enough decoration all on its own and the hostess was wonderful. She made us feel so welcome and she prepared a breakfast fit for a queen. She clearly has experience and advised us on a few things such as layout for guests, food,...

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. Southern hospitality and a gourmet breakfast. Catered to our special needs. Love love love. The best experience I've had at a B&B. I highly recommend. We hope to be able to visit again in the near future.

Great hostess treated us to a welcome glass of wine, sumptuous breakfasts, and divine bedding. It was perfect for my sister and I when we needed to be in Carthage for legal work. Bed was super comfortable for me!

This is a beautiful old Victorian Inn is located in lovely downtown Carthage near Southern Pines, NC. and is probably one of the most delightful accommodations I have had the pleasure of staying in for a long while. Breakfasts were outstanding and everything was home made on site. The aromas that waft from the kitchen right through the home are...

We just wanted to get away for one night. We looked for places close to Sanford, NC. Lo and behold - The Old Buggy Inn in Carthage. This is a restored Victorian home with only four rooms for rent. But they are all nicely appointed. We were welcomed upon arrival and given a brief tour of the home. After settling...

We had a nice little get away at this B&B. The house was decorated beautifully with old pictures and themed rooms. The bed was so comfortable--I want it! The manager was super friendly and an excellent chef. We had wine and snacks while she gave us restaurant suggestions, and when we returned from dinner she had made us homemade chocolate...
