This place has beautiful scenery but the staff is not great and there is no AC😂 I recommend that you ask for a tour of the grounds upon arrival. There are a lot of activities making this place good for family reunions.

Thank you for your submission to Trip Advisor. We agree that we are in a location of such beauty and think that we have a lot to offer to our guests. Regarding our staff, we are sorry that they did not impress you. Most of the comments we get are very complimentary of the staff but clearly you had a...

Thank you for writing about our famous Sunday Lunch. It has been the meal of choice for decades with our famous fried chicken. Our “build your own” Bloody Mary bar is relatively new (4 years) but has been a big success and certainly an eye catcher. Please come often and thank you for the time you took to share your...

Been coming for years, definitely on an upswing, but don't change anything else! Dining room is run well ( love the red head maitre d) , the older bartendar, she wears a cap,is an asset to the bar, grounds look great, lobby looks great.

Just came home from a wonderful - too short - stay at the High Hampton. My husband had been to a wedding here 20 years ago, but it was the first time for our 11 year old son and myself. Couldn't have had a better time! Golf, hiking Rock Mountain, Spa, seeing the waterfalls in the area, dinner, having cocktails...

High Hampton's greatness lies with their personnel!!! Ms Tina and Pam are outstanding in every aspect dealing with guest needs. We stayed in both Carson homes and had multiple difficulties with the 520 address. No land line or internet all week and A/C problems in a house filled with retired attorneys that both ladies worked very hard at fixing. The...

Thank you very much for taking the time to write and express your gratitude to both Tina and Pam. Again, we are sorry for the difficulties you had in your rental home #520. As you might imagine from time to time these private homes can be a challenge even to us as we do not have as much control as...

We just returned from our 5th annual stay where my wife and I take our entire family of 4 children, their 4 spouses, and their 10 children( ages 2 months-8) for 4 nights every August. We rent rooms in the cottages that are comfortable with screened open windows, rough hewn wood siding, immaculately clean, but not elaborate; just right. No...

My dad came here for years prior to buying a place in the area. My husband and I had not been in this neck of the woods for years and wanted to stay here for old times sake. It's over run with families who return year after year. It's rustic yet comfortable but there is no a/c,so bring ear plugs...

Thank you for taking the time to write of your experience. You certainly did come at the peak of family time here at High Hampton Inn. The month of July has the most family activity of any other month (by far) and yes there are days that it does get warm but generally cools down by eight or so. We...

High Hampton is one of our favorite places to visit for a long weekend. The food is outstanding. Go early to dinner and try the soups. The rooms are simple but you don't stay in them except to sleep. There is so many fun things to do....feed apples to the donkeys, hike around the lake, play tennis, golf, shuffleboard or...
