We knew coming to Carowinds that we wanted to stay close to the park, mostly for convenience. We arrived at the cabin, #13, and we're not impressed, but we're satisfied with what was provided. We didn't appreciate having to make our bed upon arrival. The AC was set to 66 degrees upon arrival, but I don't mind that. The comfort...

Loved the Charmingly Simple Clean Cabins, Convenient Shuttle to Park. Spent the day Sat in the park. Came back and cooked Hamburgers on the Grill. Headed back to the Park for SCAROWINDS Sat. NIght returned for late snacks by the campfire pit which we set up before leaving for the park. Celebrated 13 year old birthday of my twin grandsons...

This cabin is not far from the main road, yet it is secluded and quiet, so you get the best of both worlds. I stayed one night, and I wish I had been able to stay longer. It was very clean. There were 2 bunk beds, one bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Other amenities are refrigerator, freezer, dish washer,...

Overall we had a great experience. The Package deals, location and price point was great. The Staff members were very nice and helpful and the facilities were very clean. One word of advice... If you are tent camping make sure your sleeping area is lifted off the ground, self inflating camp pads were not adequate.

This is a pretty good campground. But not a RV Park. Gravel sites, narrow roads and very lax enforcing the rules. Cars and trucks parked on grass and way more people on each site than allowed. Good office staff. There is a shuttle to the amusement park. Some turns way to tough to get out in a 40 foot motor...

Stayed over the weekend with high expectations after visiting other resorts with similar type cabins. The cabin itself was nice and look great at first. We didn't stay long as we arrived early and wanted to head into the park. We left and decided not to take the shuttle since it only runs at limited times. When we came back...

Really enjoyed our stay at the campground. The pet friendly environment offers lots to do if you choose not to visit the park every day. The shuttle bus offers a safe and enjoyable way to get back and forth to the park as well.

An awesome family weekend at Carowinds. Camp Wilderness was so convenient to the park. They also offered a great discount package with site and park tickets. But we will be getting season passes next year and visiting more often.

Clean, well shaded campsites for tents. Bath houses and pool well maintained. Staff was professional and friendly. Shuttle to the amusement park was a boon, no parking woes. The discounted park tickets were also a "steal". Looking forward to visiting again in the fall.
