This was our first time at this KOA. Our deluxe cabin on the river exceeded our expectations. It's was very clean, perfectly appointed with towels, linens, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, Keurig machine with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, paper products, and hair dryer Donnie, Monica, Dave, and ALL the staff were very pleasant, helpful, and genuinely friendly....

KOA really sucks. Like 95% of the staff is rude as heck. The bathrooms are always dirty. The location is great. Other than that the place is horrible. I definitely won't be back. The big boss is rude.

We were greeted politely upon arrival, but that will change completely if you complain about anything. We camped in a tent, and the picnic table was so decrepit, with flaking paint, and so dirty, we bought a table cloth in the store before we could use it. They did not even rake the campsite, so we had to remove sticks...

We had two cabins booked but the one had a horrible odor after they filled up the propane tanks and we were told to just open up the windows for a day or so (in 30 degree weather with two small children). We squeezed into one cabin they at least did a refund, but still not for the total price....

I highly ecommend this serene location to anyone for any reason, any time of the year. Especially during off season, the mountains are quite enticing! se·rene [səˈrēn] Calm, peaceful, and untroubled; tranquil! en·tic·ing1 [enˈtīsiNG] attract or tempt by offering pleasure or advantage!

This was the first KOA we stayed at. It was expensive. $30 + a $10 "resort" fee. We're tent campers, so this was pretty high. What did we get? - a site in front of a cabin - clean bathrooms What was missing? - Wifi signal didn't work, even though we were less than 100 yards from a booster -...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our front desk will be happy to help explain your receipt to you if you call, our resort fee is not $10, so there may have been an error. I am glad you enjoyed our clean, up dated bathrooms and next year we will be adding deluxe tent sites for...

This was our second visit to this KOA, and it was better than we remembered from over 7 years ago. All campsites look to be concrete paved - a few were asphalt. Very level, easy hookups with convenient and very clean, updated bath houses. Nice indoor pool with hot tub, good fishing and wonderful staff. The cabins are remarkable. (We...

A friend recommended this place and we were looking for a place right in the middle of the mountains from 21-23rd October. Yeah, the time when everyone plans a getaway in the Smoky mountains! We were lucky to get few last remaining cottages. The KOA camping ground is a great vibrant community. A weekend getaway to many weeks of vacation...

The location of the campground is just outside of the entrance into the Smokies, and the Welcome Center. We spent a good hour just at the Center before traveling on to Clingem's Dome. Suffice to say, in the three days we overnighted at the campground, each day took us in a different direction. So much to see and do there....
