My husband and I stayed for two nights, and I have to say the innkeepers were so sweet and kind the entire time. We were greeted with a smile, and a warm welcome. We stayed in the Euro room which was beautiful and very comfortable. The balcony was nice as well. It was a little too cold outside for us...

Being away from home while completing your education can be really hard at times. Holly was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was perfect, the grounds were beautiful as the weather warmed and the poolside lights shined beautifully at night. This was the 1st time I did not feel homesick and actually felt settled and like I was returning home...

From the moment we arrived we felt special and very welcomed like we were visiting family. Our room was very nice, clean and inviting and the food was very tasty. We would recommend this inn to anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy a nice relaxing retreat away from home.

This was our second visit to the Culpepper Inn in Elizabeth City, NC. We stayed in the Crown Room and found the accommodations to be great. The hospitality of the Innkeepers was very welcoming. It was only a one night visit. We'll stay longer next time.

Our second visit to this lovely Inn on New Year's Eve lived up to our high expectations. Our email invitation a week before the event resulted in our enthusiastic acceptance, including a stay in the Crown Room in the main house. The Crown room looks like the best room at the inn and is highly recommended. The meal was preceded...

The Culpepper Inn is an awesome place to hold a meeting or party. The service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the little touches that made my event successful. I highly recommend TCI and will be back in just a few weeks. Thank you doesn't seem like enough, but thank you.

2nd visit in a month, this one was a surprise visit for a special birthday. The caretakers of the inn went above and beyond our expectations. We will schedule many of our special events here and they have many beautiful rooms to choose from. We chose the Carriage House which is very cozy and beautifully furnished. Thank you so much!!!!...

Found this historic B&B in Elizabeth City, NC. The place was gorgeous, the family/staff very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area, food delicious, and had a pool (towels provided)! Everything was very clean. We got a reservation at the last minute and although our "gold" room was considered a "standard", it was wonderful and reasonable. All rooms had private bathrooms...

I called around 5pm to find out if there was a room available for 2 nights. I received a warm response and was able to go and check in 30 minutes later. The tour of the inn was absolutely beautiful, and I felt very welcome. The grounds are gorgeous and so calming. I was in town for business, and this...

My son gave us a gift certificate for a one night stay at the Culpepper Inn Bed and Breakfast. They stayed last May and loved it so they felt we would enjoy it as well. We did. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful and located close to the waterfront so you can...
