Came to the Inn for a museum tour and cooking class with two of my dear friends. Both activities were outstanding. Marty, historian, owner and chef is highly knowledgeable and quite articulate. We had such a good time that we will definitely return. I highly...More
Room was great, they have gone to a great deal of trouble and expense to locate period artifacts for each of there rooms. Also there hospitality and attention to detail are top notch. I would recommend this B&B for anyone.
The Presidential Culinary Museum is a feature of the Inn. The owners have a collection of memorabilia contained in several glass cases throughout the B& B. Chef Marti provides an entertaining insight into the world of white house cuisine. The tour, as well as the...More

I would expect nothing less from Chef Marti. HE's a gracious and engaging host who shows great care and concern for his guests and for the reputation of his inn. It's unfortunate that there are a very few reviewers that seem bent on being overly critical. I'm thankful for the great majority of reviewers that found this B&B to be exactly what it is, a charming, well-run place to stay that also manages to provide a tremendous value for the money and time spent. We are seasoned travelers and capable of recognizing the good guys form the marginal ones. Chef Marti and his staff are not only good guys, they're GREAT!
