My wife and I decided to detour from the usual New Years Eve celebration this year and enjoy a relaxing couple of nights at the historic Waverly Inn in Hendersonville, NC. We arrived New Years eve and stayed two nights. This was not our first trip to stay with Diane, John and Darla so we knew we were in for...

I traveled to Hendersonville and 1898 Waverly was recommended by a co-worker. I was not disappointed. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was amazing (cooked to order), room was great, hospitality unmatched, and all in walking distance of downtown Hendersonville. WE will make it our inn of choice for all future visits.

We arrived Christmas Eve at this beautiful inn. Darla checked us in with ease and we were settled within minutes...we were in the Carolina Magnolia room which is dog friendly...our dog Dixie loved it. We were close to the back door so we could take her out without bothering other visitors any time day or night. We were within walking...

We just returned from a wonderful 2-night stay at the 1898 Waverly Inn, which was highlighted by the best breakfasts we have enjoyed at a B&B and by the warm and thoroughly enjoyable happy hour each night featuring complimentary wine, snacks, and chatting with other guests, hosted by the owner. It's quite charming in appearance and well-located near the historic...

like said in other reviews, the staff is very accommodating. The only complaints I have are minor... The water pressure in the shower was too low, but it wasn't bad enough to complain. The only other issue we had was with breakfast. Both mornings I ordered my eggs over well... And they had runny yolks both times. Not a huge...

My second visit was forthree days and gave me ample time to relax and Enjoy this place There are stairs to navigate, but even with my bad knee I managed. Beds are high and I guess that's pretty much standard. A footstool was provided. Clawfoot tub a must, just for the experience. Breakfast the best, good selection, made to order.

The staff at 1898 Waverly Inn treat you like family. We spent 4 nights at the Bed and Breakfast during the holidays and it was wonderful. The Inn included with our stay the Thanksgiving Meal which was wonderful! The breakfast each morning was homemade and we really enjoyed it. The Inn is on main street and just a short walk...

We would highly recommend Waverly Inn. The staff were great and the custom breakfast was wonderful. At night we walked to restaurants on main street and felt very safe. The town of Hendersonville has nice restaurants or stores. Thank you for a great experience.

Shabby 80's decor, stopped up sink, orange foam earplugs on night stand, raggedy linens, dirty carpet, broken footboard on bed, ghetto music on hallway docking station, could not leave this place fast enough !

I stayed here with my parents who were interested in visiting the Biltmore. It was a lovely, comfortable experience. Everyone was lively, friendly, and willing to help. Everything was done to take care of our needs. We would highly recommend this experience.
