You enter the front doors , just like an old hotel. You check in & pay your bill. Then asked if you need to rent a towel . You then leave out a side door and have to walk through gravel and grass spots Till you get to a shed . At the shed you are directed to your left where...

This was my third and favorite visit to the Hot Springs Resort. My wife and I soaked in tub #17, and this is my favorite tub. #16 and 17 overlook the water falls in the creek, and when the tub is not running, one can hear the babbling creek. The water was warm, clean, and therapeutic. Bring a towel or...

We went to the Hot Springs Resort and Spa on a whim. We booked the one hour mineral hot tub. It was private and secluded. It was clean and the water is changed between each appointment. The grounds are OK, but I thought for $48 I got my money's worth. I would definitely bring my own towels, flip flops, a...

One of my favorite places! Great for couples, family, or friends. Many outdoor activities. Spa is wonderfully relaxing. Very reasonably priced meals at any of the local restaraunts, and delicious....everything from pizza to steaks.

We have been to hot springs 4-5 times This will be our last visit. Cabin 10 had an old pair of men's underwear and a dumped ashtray outside the tub I saw that my 4th visit I couldn't believe my eyes when I still saw them my 5th visit. It was so dirty spider webs everywhere dead spiders in the...

With the name "Resort & Spa," one would expect a professional staff and clean facilities. Neither were what we encountered during our visit. If you're wanting a good, relaxing massage and spa experience, head back toward Asheville & don't be fooled by their well designed website. The website is misleadingly tranquil while the actual experience is far more redneck &...

We had an unexpected day off and decided to drive the three hours to Hot Springs for a soak and a massage. We love this place for its easy going atmosphere, the soaking tubs that have a view of the river (#16 has a view of the waterfall, the sound is tranquil). Afterwards we scheduled a couples massage and it...

From an Asheville local who might come more often, this is a fairly enjoyable date, however to call it a resort is a bit much. The massage rooms are extremely clinical and not cozy or romantic. They need to be upgraded so that you feel like you're in a nice serene or sacred place. The grounds are not lovely, dried...

No cell reception or wifi. Very dusty roads and campsites. All campsites appeared to have fire pits with a removable grate for grilling. If you like river camping, you'll like the campsites right on the river banks. I'll be back to camp here if in the area.

Our family enjoyed Hot Tub #14 for the family on the creek. Spent 2 hours and enjoyed every minute. The wife and me went back a later date for a romantic hot tub in #9 with bamboo privacy also on the creek. The staff were very friendly.
