We usually get a condo for the week, but this was a last minute back to school trip. Positives: It was great to be right next to the pier and fishing. The boys could walk to the arcade and good food and a nice park were nearby. The pier is always a great visit. The fishing was close and LOTS...

Everything was functional and clean. Beach access is excellent. Location is great, right next door to the few restaurants in Kure Beach, as well as the pier. Staff was very nice and professional. Might want to bring a cushion or pad for the plastic Adirondack chairs on the balcony if you're going to sit a spell.

As other reviews have stated if you walk barefoot in the rooms with carpet your feet will get dirty and black. The cabinets in our particular room had what appeared to be fuzzy mold on some of them. I had to move the little drawer nightstand in between the beds because my charger fell and there was food behind there....

First off, the guy in the office, Brent (?), was friendly and informative. Gave us LOTS of great info on area restaurants. Our room was basic, but fine. I'm not a "prima donna" who has to have the best of the best -- just want a clean, comfortable place to stay! The beds, pillows and sheets, I must say, were...

Cute motel on beach. The parking lot leads to the sand dunes. In need of major updating but clean and safe. Friendly , good service. No king size beds, coffee makers and the towels suck. Loved the area . The hotel is in a great location. Easy walking to reataurants and bars.

If you are looking for some fancy upscale resort, keep looking. However, if you are looking for somewhere clean with a great staff and reasonable prices that is close enough to walk to the pier and surrounding restaurants, this is your place. Rooms are clean and staff is willing to do anything asked to help, but they don't bother you....

It has everything you need for a nice, relaxing beach experience. The staff is pleasant, helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I asked for a ground floor and a kitchen. It was complete with coffee pot and toaster etc. No problems there. I needed a larger knife, the office was quick to oblige. Staff kept the room...

I met a friend for five days, four nights. When we made the reservation we understood we were getting a second floor oceanfront room. We ended up with a first floor room and listened to the adults and children above us run races and move furniture all hours of the late night and early morning. This is an older motel...

Nice oceanfront but......I would call it shabby. Really run down and old but perhaps for the price it is okay. Very family oriented, not loud or rowdy. Kitchen poorly stocked in terms of cutlery, bowls, etc. No ice trays, and nothing felt really clean. Beds were good and the shower was excellent water pressure which is a delight after being...
