located on the "crossroads" in Linville Falls, this lodge/cottages sits opposite the post office and general store. It's got very charming grounds and many of the rooms and cottages face towards beautifully maintained gardens, with little nooks to sit in. The rooms are what you'd expect for a rustic setting, quaint and adequate, and good value at the price. There's...

Stayed in a two bedroom cottage behind the Lodge while we made day trips to hike the Linville Falls Wilderness Area & Gorge, Hawksbill Mountain, Table Rock Mountain and the Appalachian Trail over at Roan Mountain State Park; all conveniently located within short driving distances. The accommodations were fantastic, including comfortable beds, a complete kitchen and a covered porch to...

I book Linville Falls Lodge & Cottages after reading reviews here. The place is beyond our exceptions. Wendy, the manager is such a great host. She let us feel welcomed all the time during our stay. What most impressed us is the dinner she made for us. We arrived the Lodge around 6 pm, we decided to go to see...

Very close to Linville Caverns and Linville Falls. Short drive to Boone and Blowing Rock. The cabin is also near a huge fire pit. Spears Restaurant is within walking distance and it...

Our stay was OK. I was surprised at the rave reviews online. They have done a nice job with landscaping, and making the Lodge look rustic. However, the room was dark as a cave and it was hard to see (lightbulbs could be brighter!). The reception was inefficient - the office was closed on our arrival with no written instructions,...

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the firepit was a nice added feature and the yard and flowers were amazing! It was so close to Linville caverns, Linville Falls trails and so many other scenic trails! We were so pleased with this hotel and the attached restaurant was very good!

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in my travels. We had dinner at Spear's BBQ and Grill, and the owner and staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, and some of the staff sat and talked with us at length about the area. I would highly recommend this place, and can't wait...

The owners could not have been more accommodating. Small rooms and dark ( walls are paneled in pine) but it was just wonderful for us. They do offer a continental breakfast every morning and there is a coffee pot in each room. Knowing what you are getting is very important is important when planning a trip. Beautiful property and well...
