Our room at the Stony Creek Motel overlooked a babbling brook. It was everything we had hoped to find in a country inn... not too fancy, just rustic and quaint. We were so impressed that we elected to stay another night.

A very well-kept, family-owned motel. The gentleman in the office was very nice and helpful, and the room was clean and fresh. The linens were soft, but not threadbare, and the carpet was clean. We were very satisfied with our stay.

This was my 6th or 7th visit to Stony Creek. For years I stayed there a few days each June while attending a nearby conference, but I hadn't been in about 5 years. Everything was as great as I remembered. I always stay in the newer building which is 2 story. Each room has a porch on the back that...

I normally stay in newer hotels and was a little wary when my friend booked us into the Stony Creek on a recent motorcycle trip to Maggie Valley. Wood paneled rooms and a small bathroom but this place was cleaner and in better shape than a lot of new hotels I've stayed in. The owners were great and the price...

We had a great stay and the managers were very accommodating. They have a very cool outdoor kitchen all covered by the creek that would be great for a family reunion or parties for friends. Fun place!!!!

I have stayed at the Stony Creek Motel a few times now. The rooms are a bit dated but that seems to be the norm in Maggie Valley. I never have to worry about my room being dirty or dingy: they are always super clean! The owners are nice and accommodating as well. The location is within walking distance to...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms need to be painted and updated. There were holes in the quilt on our bed. The bathroom was in need of some work as well. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. All in all it was what you would expect for $70 a night. A beautiful place outside but...

I've stayed here a few times I love this place and I'll continue to stay here every chance I get! Every-time I have been I've enjoyed the customer service I always receive not to mention it's a family/american owned establishment the rooms are all different and a must see! very reasonable priced, can't wait to go back.

Wonderful little place. Absolutely loved falling asleep to the sound of a creek. The price was fair and the room was quaint and cozy. I totally recommend it to anyone coming to Maggie Valley, NC. Don't let the negative reviews fool you, folks can find fault in anything if they already have a bad attitude
