Hotel is old, but well kept. Fresh paint everywhere. Rooms are large a comfortable and very clean. Parking is good, but only one car per room. Spaces are numbered and I like that. Bed was very comfortable and good TV, microwave and fridge. Love the rocking chairs out side of ever room. I will be back..

Booked this hotel over Labor Day weekend. Quite little hotel, recently remodeled in Maggie valley. Perfect location , close to shops and restaurants. Very pleased with the rooms, excellent prices! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with information on nearby restaurants and shops! Will definitely stay in this hotel the next time we are in Maggie Valley!

Can someone please put a zero rating on here! I will try to keep this short, but I'm still so frustrated 2 days later, that I want to write a book! First, let me say that we thought we'd discovered a wonderful motel before we made the reservations. We love a place called 'The Stompin' Grounds" and this is directly...

Overall, I enjoyed my week stay here and would definitely return. There were some issues with my room, though, such as: 1} The door needs to be fixed so it doesn't badly stick. 2} The water pressure is very poor. 3} The {fluorescent} light bulbs were WAY too bright. 4} The rear windows were very dirty. 5} There were no...

This is a small motel. Extremely clean. Has nice shade trees in front. Good for sitting and relaxing. It's not fancy, but it is comfortable. Small size means there isn't a lot of noise. It's close to restaurants and shops. They have rocking chairs for sitting and relaxing.

Really run down motel. Frayed dirty carpet, hole in the wall of the tub unit letting in water, old dirty grout, burn marks on the tub, filthy couch, poor water pressure in faucets and toilet. Disgusting reception area and unfriendly owner. The towels are ancient and tiny. Beds were ok for comfort, nothing special. Old furniture that looks like it...

It was an older motel but it was clean. The room had 2 queen beds with a small dressing area between the bedroom area and bathroom. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan to help with steam when showering and you couldn't open the window. There was some mildew around the tub, but I'm sure it was it formed because...

Excellent for the price. clean with comfortable bed. Hot water took a while to come on but was fine afterward. Front desk was very helpful. Plenty of good pillows. Is close to restaurants and local attractions. Locks on the doors were solid and updated; important to me. No smells.

Holiday skiing weekend w our normal hotels booked up. Travelowes was half the price of the Comfort Inn next door, so we were expecting disaster. The good news was: all surfaces seemed clean; looked like new carpet; crisp clean sheets; firm mattresses; cosy heat when 19 degrees outside with constant white noise, no on/off clanking, from the heating system; had...
