My wife I stayed at the Crew's Inn B & B on a recent trip to the Outer Banks. First of all, if you don't like traffic jams and fast food restaurants, drive past Kitty Hawk and Nag's Head and make it all the way down to Ocracoke. Ocracoke will remind you of simpler and quieter times...a classic old beach...

My husband I stayed here for 4 nights recently and enjoyed it very much. It's simple - an older Ocracoke home on property owned by several generations of an Ocracoke family. It's situated off a quiet road that runs parallel to the 'main road' of Ocracoke and, as such, is very quiet, leafy but has a 'short cut' from the...

We have stayed here before and love the quiet location. There are 5 rooms here,we stayed in the downstairs room with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The location on Back Road is very quiet. We liked being right across from Zillies a great spot for a glass of wine or a micro beer. Breakfast is fruit, eggs, toast and...

We stayed at the Crews Inn for a night during our honeymoon. This was our first stay at a B & B and I am extremely delighted with our entire experience at Crew’s Inn! If you are not familiar with the island Back Rd (which is the street Crew’s Inn is located) is right off the “main” drag. You can...

Has not changed. But that is good. Like visiting grandmas home. You wouldn't want to show up and grandma has gone condo with a teki bar and dancing girls. You want consistency at grandmas. The only upgrade was WiFi, downstairs only. Over the years, between wives and girlfriends, have had 5 romantic stays. Nice place to be romantic. Ike is a...

The house was built in 1908 and very well taken care of. Owner is an original "Ocracoker" and has a book published with fascinating stories about people and families of the island from days gone by appropriately named "Ocracokers". The Innkeeper -Ike is quite fun and cooks some of the fluffiest scrambled eggs I've ever had. The breakfast is basic...

My wife and I spent 3 days at the Crews Inn B&B during an anniversary trip to the outer banks . Our room was on the first floor (Ike and Susan's?) and it was very cozy. The screened porch was the perfect place to have breakfast (made by the VERY helpful and entertaining innkeeper, Ike). There is a another porch...

Ocracoke is my favorite place and Crews Inn my favorite place to stay. It's an old island home converted to 5 lodging units. The owner lives next door, and the innkeeper takes care of your daily needs, including a yummy breakfast. The rooms are decorated and furnished with furniture and pictures of an earlier era. Beds are very comfortable. In...

We had a wonderful experience at Crews Inn. The Captain's Quarters offered a private bath and entrance. Being on the third floor was like sleeping in a tree house. The location was excellent for walking to the light house, shopping, food and drink, and the harbor. Our drive to the Cedar Island ferry was less than 5 minutes. Ike was...

What an incredible place we found to stay while on Ocracoke. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters a third floor attic with wood coating every surface. It was totally delightful to have our own outside entrance, and yet feel perfectly safe in our cozy get away. The breakfasts were unique and ample but always featured fresh fruit which was so...
