Was planning to pass through Ocracoke, hit the Hatteras ferry, and camp (RV) on Hatteras Island somewhere. Found out on the ferry ride over (from Swan Quarter) that Highway 12 was closed due to flooding (heavy rains), and the Hatteras ferry was shut down! Owner...More
We pulled in after the last Swan Quarter ferry and were able to get a last minute site off season at about 7:30 Nice owner, very friendly and helpful. Willing to take a personal check and provided a great connection wi-fi. Had a Pull through...More
I made reservations at Teeter's for a place to stay during a three day fishing trip with a fishing buddy of mine. It was perfect. Campers with children may not be totally happy since there is not much there for children to do, but if...More
For the last 2 years, we have continuously taken a vacation in the Outer Banks/Ocracoke; this year we purchased our first camper and decided to bring it with us for our third stay in OBX. Teeter's Campground was a great little place to stay. The...More
Clean with shady campsites. Bathrooms & showers kept immaculate. Would definitely return to pet-friendly Teeter's Campground on British Cemetary Rd. Also, it's convenient to walk to just about everything in town. Onlyy negative is they have no pool
This campground was a big disappointment, especially for the price of $50 a night. Save your money and go elsewhere. The webpage is misleading. To the owners: what were you thinking?

I apologize if your stay was disappointing. May I please ask when you stayed with us and what was misleading about our web site? Please let us know what you found unsatisfactory. I am a bit confused about the price you say you paid. Our most expensive site is $40 a night and that is with full hook-up and a base of two people staying. We only charge an additional $3 per person extra for those over the age of 6. The rates along with the additional person policy is listed on our web site. Your response would be much appreciated. Any suggestions are welcomed as we are always looking to improve customer experience.
