Peaceful fun reasonable! Staff was awesome! They have camp sites and cabins clean bathhouse! Def will go back! They have a game room store putt putt. Off the beaten path but we'll worth it! Take the scenic route to Chimney Rock.

I rented one of the three fully furnished cabins on the top of the mountain. I was not sure what to expect. My first morning waking up I woke too such an awesome view. The mountains were right in front of me. I walked out about forty feet and a family of deer were roaming about 150 yards at the...

The campground was nice, clean and family friendly. It's also close to many attractions. Cabins are really good looking, comfortable, and affordable. I definitely will come back and will continue to stay here, when visiting Old Fort.

My boyfriend and I stayed three nights in one of the three couples cabins. We had the last cabin of the three which had a beautiful view of the mountains from the front porch or sitting on the couch in the living room. The cabin had a nice kitchen and full bathroom with everything we needed. There was air conditioning...

We stayed here last summer for a week in one of the primitive cabins. We absolutely loved our stay and our little cabin was just perfect for us! The staff was very friendly and we were able to do a lot of sightseeing easily because of it's convenient location. This was a first camping experience for 2 of my children...

Their website can be a little deceiving, we thought it was going to be more space between the cabins and tent sites. It ended up being a great place to stay. Everyone was friendly, clean, plenty of things to do, and close to a lot of things without the high prices. Loved that the cabins came with an outlet and...

Accommodations are top value at any price point. Most of the vacationers I met had been back several times. I wouldn't think of staying anyplace else when I was in the Asheville area. Bill Johnson Lakeland, Fl.

I don't have much good to say about this campground. I chose it as they accepted Passport America and we wanted to stay in this area for about 3 days to sightsee. First off, the road to the campground is a narrow twisting road, no shoulder to speak of and also some low hanging branches. Secondly, this is an old...

“If you want to be close to nature where you can hear all the night sounds and almost literally pick a star right out of the sky for your very own then the cabins at the top are the place to go.”
