We were traveling aimlessly with another couple up the Blue Ridge Parkway without advance reservations. We stopped at a town nearby with accommodations, things to do, and an eatery. I asked for advice for the next few days of our trek and the store worker suggested your place would be a nice option. We were NOT disappointed. We found your...

We found this place late in the evening after a day of traveling on our honeymoon. Rented one of the new honeymoon cabins. We could not believe how nice it was AAAAAA++++++ Guy at the desk was friendly and helpful and recommended a couple places to eat. A great place to stay

We were in the Pineola (Linville), NC area to hike Grandfather Mountain and the Linville Gorge July 1, 2016 to July 4th, 2016. The Pineola Inn is in a great location to hike both areas and had rooms at a reasonable rate. Very clean, basic accommodations and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms appeared to have...

Stopped in for two days of riding the mountains and enjoyed my two day stay! Clean, well located with easy access. Simple but with all the necessities. I will go back frequently and new visitors should know to bring there fly rods since a stocked trout stream runs right by the inn. Keep in mind there is no food or...

This place is one of the nicest little motels I have stayed in. Excellent desk help, courteous to a fault, good size room ,very clean grounds and parking area, nice laundry facilities on site. Two restaurants within walking distance, store on premises that has a variety of beer and wine and some snacks. Right on the Blue Ridge Parkway but...

I stayed at the Pineola Inn over Memorial weekend. The room was clean, affordable and comfortable. I also enjoyed the store and Indian artifacts museum. The best thing about staying at the Pineola Inn is it's central location to so many great places. During my stay I visited Mountain Glen Golf Club in Newland, NC and Banner Elk.

Our family was traveling up the Blue Ridge Parkway & found the Pineola Inn by chance. It is possibly the CLEANEST place I have EVER stayed!! An older place, no pool but it is charming and (basically) comfortable - the bed could, possibly, have been a bit firmer. But the room was large and well appointed. The young man who...

This place is real old. Not sure if or when it has ever been updated. The white towels weren't white, and lying on the bed was similar to lying on a beanbag. That being said, the reservations process was very simple (telephone) and the desk clerk was very courteous. The hand-written check in pad reminded me of hotel check-ins in...

This was one of the cleanest non-chain motels I have ever stayed in. The room & bathroom were neat as a pin. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were immaculate. The young men running the office/store were very personable. If we ever travel that way again, we will be sure to book at this inn.

We have stayed here several times, it is quiet, clean and affordable. Did I mention clean? Yes, it is very clean! With a comfortable bed, a fridge & microwave, nice tv, good restaurants nearby it is one of the better places to spend a night or 2 with good activities and hiking nearby! It is close to the parkway where...
