Stay Report - 5/20 - 5/21 Location: The hotel is located on Navajo Drive just off Wake Forest Road a little north of I-440 aka the Raleigh Beltline. Nearby are a few other hotels and a Bahama Breeze. Half a mile south on Wake Forest are two large shopping centers with a Kroger and a Trader Joes. RDU is about...

Yes, this is an older lodging so there are a few knit-picky things that could be more shipshape. But ... overall what one gets is 1. a restful environment on a quiet street that is right off an expressway and an easy surface street trip to downtown Raleigh. In addition the pod style of rooms (like individual houses) offers a...

Upon arrival, the desk person asked me if I would like a complimentary upgrade. I said sure :P ! I was upgraded to a 2 story loft and it was awesome. With the bed in the wall, the upstairs room, and the pullout couch, it had surprising room in it for at least 6. Spacious and clean. Cant ask for...

- Some of the staff were friendly and helpful while others were a bit rude (when asking for additional bedding for the sofa bed I was treated like I was stupid for not finding the closet with bedding inside the room). - It's difficult to move between the buildings with suitcases because the foot paths are very narrow and are...

Thank you for staying with us. Our hotel is the first generation of Residence Inns that was built as "apartment type" living, specifically for extended stay travelers. We pride ourselves on being unique in the fact that our hotels are no longer built like this. We work hard daily to stay ahead of routine maintenance, but there may be a...

Residence Inns are vewy welcoming and this one was no different. The staff is very gracious and check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in the Penthouse, but unit 422 has the master room downstairs walled off with french doors. I prefer the Penthouse with everything wide open. The room is very clean. The shower is hot. But the furniture...

We just had a house fire and needed somewhere to stay quickly, and we were told about the Residence Inn by an insurance company. We stayed initially for a week, while trying to find somewhere to stay until our home could be fixed, but once we were here, we realized, this has everything we need and want. We spoke with...

Residence Inn has been around awhile and I was skeptical about staying. Like many known hotels renovations is usually last on their list. However, lets talk about maintaining the property. Excellent job of ensuring the room (although the size of the room would be considered as a mini-suite) was clean, well lit and abundantly filled with all the necessary kitchen...

. Shocking maintenance needs for a Marriott. Close to the street but poor sound insulation. Cleanliness of bathrooms was adequate. Refrigerator, coffee machine and kitchen but we had a short stay. Friendly breakfast buffet. Evening meals with set menu are part of the room cost. It is a good location and parking is included.
