We had a wonderful few days with Enzo and Argo. Their B&B in Trapani is well placed to see some of the sights of western Sicily which is sometimes forgotten by visitors but we absolutely loved. The B&B is a lovely 1st floor appartment with the most fabulous arrangement of rooftop terraces ..... yes in the plural. It is full... More

Enzo (with his dog Argo!) runs the most relaxed and friendly B&B we have ever stayed in. Lovely comfy room, you can relax in the roof garden and watch the sun set over the sea. It is in a lovely quiet area only a 2 minute walk from Trapani's historic centre. By the way breakfast is wonderful!

Enzo was on vacation but his cousin Carmelo really looked after us. Enzo contacted us before arriving so we had everything we needed. Carmelo gave us great recommendations and a lovely lunch when we arrived. A fantastic surprise. We would fully recommend the house of Enzo and Argo. Genuinely nice people and dogs.

We loved Casa di Argo. Comfortable room, with bathroom just a few steps away. What made it such a lovely place to stay was Enzo’s friendliness and hospitality. We arrived around lunchtime and he immediately invited us to share lunch with him and his friend (and Argo!). Lovely pasta, salad and veg, with veal to follow, coffee with biscuits and... More

We met enzo through his friend carmelo in palermo - we were staying at carmelo's b and b. enzo mentioned he had his own b and b by the sea and we thought no more of it. When the hotel we were meant to be staying some miles from Trapani turned out to be utterly horrendous, we rang Enzo in... More

Enzo is one of the nicest, most welcoming people you will ever meet. We went to Sicily and met him at Carmelo's B&B in Palermo. He said if we ever headed down to Trapani to look him up. A couple of days later our trip took a turn for the worse (dodgy B&B) We happened to be near Trapani, so... More

Enzo and Argo (his dog) made our holiday memorable. Their house is full of character with collections of art, tiled floors and walls with wonderful terraces where we were able to sit and enjoy the view and sun. Enzo goes out of his way to put in the little touches that made it all so special and we will treasure... More

Loved our 5 night stay with Enzo and his dog, Argo. If you too love dogs you will enjoy stopping at this comfortable B and B, right in the heart of the old quarter of Trapani. Pippo, the area dog, rescued by Enzo, is on the street below and is a really friendly character. It is just a short stroll... More

Casa di Argo is named for the owner Enzo's dog, who is a real presence in the house. It's the kind of highly individualized place for the person who's anxious to escape the cookie cutter feel of many of vacation accommodations. At the same time, it's very comfortable and beautifully and whimsically decorated, with lovelyl old Sicilian tiles, sculptures, paintings... More

This house is so full of character, as is the immediate area. Enzo is a remarkable host, so welcoming and helpful. We had not visited Trapani before and fell in love with it. I am so glad that we stayed five nights - could have spent a lot more time here. It was fund talking to other guests as well,... More
