There aren't many hotels to choose from in Mundaka and I was dubious about choosing this place due to only having one star but thankfully it has been recently renovated and the staff are really friendly. Being a modern hotel they have excellent wifi with each floor having its own router. Didn't know about the parking option but there is...

Comfy simple and clean hotel very close to the harbour and just a short walk to the beach. Very welcoming and friendly staff. English spoken. Delicious ice creams on sale in the bar. We had a room on the front which was a little noisy but stayed cool.

Fantastic service and staff - nice, clean and big rooms. Surfboards for hire great help - location picture perfect plus love their gelato stand. Parking an issue - have to park in arcade couple of meters from the hotel. All in all - will be back in winter when the waves break.

Nice and close to the main surf break which unfortunately wasn't breaking all too much when we were there, close to local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend anyone visiting this gorgeous little town to...

We visited this hotel following a visit to Mundaka last year which is a lovely little fishing village. The rooms were very nice, very good size and the beds very comfortable. We didn't have the breakfast here though we went to a place around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We chose this hotel on the basis of the good ratings which were correct The welcome is very pleasant and we got a room on the top floor with tilted roof. The room was attractively decorated with wooden floors and it was quite large too. Everything was clean. We had a view to a nice part of town. Parking is...

The Hotel Mundaka is a small hotel in the beautiful seaside village of Mundaka in the Basque Country. Comfortable living combined with friendly staff make this a pleasurable vacation spot. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast menu - offering "real" wholesome food. Reasonable prices considering we stayed in high summer. The village is accessible to Bilbao, which is a "must"....

“Top floor may be quainter even”

“Room 15 where we stayed was really large with a fabulous shower room - twin beds only not double - but overlooking the courtyard and with large shutters so it is quiet and dark as this may be a small town but the nightlife and street noise can be considerable. It is however directly over the kitchen and dining room... Staff setting kitchen up at night and early breakfasters may disturb some lighter sleepers.”

“If you like to look out on people coming and going -- go with the front rooms. If you prefer quiet, ask for a back room.”
