Our room looked out on fields and pastures - the view you would normally pay more for. Great hosts - Chris & Phil greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us to a room with everything you could need. Close to the beach and the heart of the village where there are good pub restaurants. The breakfast was excellent...

We stayed here for four nights and everything worked perfectly for us. Phil is very welcoming and cooks a lovely breakfast. Really useful having a drying room for wetsuits and being just walking distance from The Thatch. Room was clean and had tea/coffee facilities.

We visited Croyde last weekend as wedding guests. We chose Oamaru so that we would be close to the field overlooking the bay as this was where the reception was being held. It was a perfect B&B, ideally located. Phil & Chris made us very welcome and were very easy to talk to. Breakfast was lovely. The room was ideal...

I stayed at Oamaru with my family. We stayed in the family room which had everything we needed. Double and a Single with an en-suite at good rates. The room was clean, homely and comfortable. Our own beach towels actually got laundered as we went to the beach to surf, we didn't even ask to get them cleaned. Very thoughtful...

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights last July so that we could learn to surf and relax before going to a local festival. We stayed in the back room which had an en-suite, very clean and spacious. The B&B is in a perfect location, in between the beach and the village, so you don't have to walk too...
