We did an over night stop here on a powered site. Very cheap and a great spot. Lovely staff. You can eat in the road house and get a drink at the bar. We met some nice people there and are staying there once again this year on our way north and on our return. Would recommend.

We spent 2 nights camping at the Vic River Roadhouse and had a great time! We went fishing off the banks had a few beers at the bar, played a game of pool and enjoyed the most amazing Beef Parmigiana!! The staff are great and were up for a chat :) the amenities are clean - overall we had fun...

We camped here on 2 October under canvas for two nights towards the end of a 16-day trip from Broome to Darwin via the Gibb River Road. It was a large, clean site with good facilities and a friendly bar.

A large campground above the Victoria River, plenty of room to spread out, quite a bit of shade. $15 unpowered site, another $10 for power. The amenities are in the process of being upgraded, but are perfectly acceptable anyway.

The room we had was fine but overpriced even for the Outback. Apparently the cheaper rooms are taken up by workers in the area. We had one meal at the restaurant - hamburgers which were very good. The grounds are really nice and lots of birds to be seen in the perimeter area. Petrol is expensive (as one may expect)...

Parking (almost) completely in the shade for the bike. Scrummy menu for a meal and ice cold drinks all served with an enormous smile at reasonable prices. Who could ask for more? Loved the whole set up

Loved this caravan park. The unpowered sites the three couples had were grassy and although a little uneven we could all be together. Beautiful outlook, sunset and walk to the bridge and river is great. We drove to the carpark and walked the escarpment one afternoon (stunning) and Joes Creek was another great walk. Make sure you look for the...

Stayed one night on a powered site. The views here are spectacular. The ablutions have not improved and are very basic to say the least. Water pressure is very low but we are not in the metro area. Staff were friendly. No Telstra mobile service but there are Telstra phone booths available. The meals were excellent and well presented and...
