Great proximity to Agnes Water beach and local shops. Our Beach House provided plenty of space and amenities for a family to stay for a week or more. Decor and furnishings are modern, fresh and clean.

Sandcastles was the perfect getaway for our family this Easter and a little more luxurious than our usual budget kind of vacation. The location was excellent, such an easy stroll to the beach and the luscious landscaping added to the tropical setting and created a sense of privacy. While resorts aren't really our thing Sandcastles was a nice surprise, the...

Highly recommended to anyone that wants a great stay in a perfect location. The sunrise over the beach is a must and the 2 bed villa with the pool was clean tidy and well decorated with our own private pool

I'm writing this on night 1 of my 2 night stay at sand castles. Awesome place, no real complaints what so ever! Started off with the lovely receptionists who were polite and super friendly. The boyfriend and I were initially in motel/budget room 37 (2nd level) but it had no balcony. We really wanted a room with a balcony so...

Thank you for your nice comments. We do try to please all our guests and will accommodate a change in rooms if we can. We look forward to having you stay with us again and please try one of the Beach Homes then, I think you will be very happy. In regard to the very small number of complaints we...

Broken screens, no a/c, no dryer, no change of towels, 1 satchel each of washing & d/washing powder for 4 night stay. Leaking fridge, spa not working, TV in 3bdr not working, missing handles on doors. No response from management despite asking for maintenance on screens upon arrival. Came home covered in mozzie bites. Grounds and pool lovely and actual...

Very disapointed to read this reveiew. 1 Broken screens, After the guest complained about the screens, I personally went and secured 2 screens that had dislodged at the corners, all other screens were OK. The guests were not there when I did it . 2 No A/C, None of the Beach Homes have A/C, they are not advertised as having...

We spent a single night en route to cairns. Room had a queen size bed and two singles. Little kitchenette and shower room. Perfectly adequate for our needs. We were in the motel part I think but I wouldn't spend more than a night or two in the room. It's located on the road to 1770, there is parking but...

Thank you for your review. Our motel rooms are quite spacious, we do have guests who are happy to stay for extended stays, but it is all a personal choice. The swallows in the underground carpark at night are a real problem. But as a protected species, there is not a lot, except fitting a roller door, that can be...

We stayed over the Easter break - there were 7 of us in total and each of us were sad to leave! Modern decor, all the amenities we needed (kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher), short walk to the beach, comfortable beds and a homely feel! It was our first time to Agnes/1770 and we will definitely be back and staying at...

Thank you for your nice review. We had many families stay with us over the Easter break and the school hol;idays. It is great to see all the kids enjoying the pools and the gardens, riding their bikes and scooters safely on the paths inside and on the way to the beach. We look forward to having you back here...

Great hotel beach house very good needs air conditioning Proprietor say that no air conditioners are needed as the flow through air is sufficient Sure when it blows but in high humidity which the area of Agnes Waters is prone to ,air con is a mist ,Other than that great pool both indoor and out side and great ambiance

Thank you for your review. For a couple of months of the year, humidity can be high making it unconfortable, not only in Agnes Water where we usually enjoy a nice sub-tropical climate. The installation of airconditioner has to be carefully considered as the misuse (leaving on with doors open etc) can lead to unacceptably high electricity costs. The Beach...
