Booked for a 1 bedroom unit ended up with a 3 bedroom, with bathroom and full kitchen unit. I would be more then happy to pay full price for it if travelling with family or friends. Master room was huge but the ensuite was a bit cramped. Had dinner at the resort restaurant one night. Again meals were huge and... More

Hi MTJ85, Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed your stay - the natural tropical gardens are a home for a large variety of birds and even the occasional goanna sunbaking in a tree. Glad you enjoyed your meals at our restaurant and pleased to see that we shall be seeing you again, given the choices available to guests and... More

Great resort and the pavilion restaurant and bar is fantastic. I ordered the lamb rack, it was fantastic it had 4 points of lamb, perfecto. I have been here a few times and it is always relaxing with a couple of pools and not to far from a pristine beach.

The lamb rack is a favourite - our seafood also gets a big tick and there is a good variety of wherever possible, use of fresh local produce. A very quiet environment backing onto a pristine beach makes it a pretty special place and thanks again for your... More

My husband and I booked a one-bedroom Townhouse for 4 nights. We found it had 3 bedrooms - one upstairs and 2 down. The one upstairs has no cooking facilities, whereas the 2 bedrooms downstairs have very good cooking facilities (although no salt & pepper!). They told us we could use any part of the townhouse, so we used the... More

Hi fancythat2, Thanks for your comprehensive review of both the resort & the township. Will have our maintenance team check the PVC odour referred to as this has not been previously raised. The treadmill was recently just serviced as was the switchboard racks contained in the mini gym and appreciate the heads-up, And will be further investigated. In regard to... More

Stayed at this resort during weekend in a townhouse. The townhouse was very clean and well equipped. It was also located within 5 minutes walk to the beach and closer to the pools and restaurant. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. They also booked a Fraser Island tour for us and the operator they use was excellent. One... More

The 1st thing you notice is the peaceful surrounds, then the welcoming smiles and friendliness of the staff. We initially had an apartment, very comfortable for a couple, but we were 3 so we upgraded to a townhouse, Wow, like a little oasis of our own, surrounded by bush and with all the amenities we could wish for. Including the... More

We booked the Rainbow Beach Resort on a special offer. It was less than $300 for 4 days mid week. Although the apartment was comfortable it desperately needs some modernisation. The bed was comfy with good quality bedding. The bathroom was clean but the living area could have been cleaner. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant and as... More

We just spent the weekend there. Didn't really know what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. We booked a one bedroom appartment and to our surprise, turned out to be a very clean and huge two bedroom appartment. Having mainly travelled to Asian and South Pacific resorts, where there is an abundance of underpaid staff, I really expected this... More

Hi mygo_001 Thanks for your great review which is appreciated. Breakfast has proved to be a double-edged sword we are afraid. A lot of the tours depart early, and prior to a normal breakfast sitting, and the fact that the apartments have their own kitchens mean a lot of guests relax over breakfast in their apartments. We do offer from... More

The deal was for a studio room for 4 nights. We were instead given a 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor facing the swimming pool. This apartment had all the mod con one could expect. This resort is out of the centre of Rainbow Beach though only a short walk to the beach.
