Stopped overnight while travelling. Found it online (looking for something near Rockhampton and found this place just north) then gave them a call and they left a key out for us. A bit tired but clean and tidy. The room had everything we needed including a fridge and microwave. Birds outside in the palms were unexpectedly loud but managed to...

Hi Sue_and_Trev0r, Thank you for taking the time to review our motel. 70% of our rooms have undergone recent renovations. The remaining rooms are at a lower nightly rate to reflect the older style rooms. Emu Park is a quaint seaside village which has proudly preserved much of its natural beauty attracting both human and animal travellers alike. We would...

Spending 5 days there was very practical and easy because you can walk around, to the beach, or cruise by car in all the area with plenty to see. The room is big, with good tv, kitchen in the corner with microwave. You have a terrace and a parking place.

Stayed for three nights and was impressed with the standard of accommodation and the service provided by the friendly staff. The unit had been recently renovated. Ideally located with a short walk to the shops and beach. Highly recommended.

This accommodation is one of the best that we have stayed in and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Lovely rooms & great staff. We arrived in the middle of a massive store exhausted after driving all day to get to yeppoon. As the weather was so bad, the management even phoned us twice to check on our safety...

Stayed two nights in this lovely motel. Staff friendly and helpful. Short walk to the shops, Hotel and the Beach. Quiet, comfortable and clean. Are doing renovations, so apart from a early wake up on the morning we were leaving, didn't hear much street noise. Definitely would stay again

Stayed for 3 nights between Christmas and New Years and thought the location in the middle of town was great. No sea views from the balcony, but the room was very clean and recently renovated. The small kitchenette had a microwave, toaster, kettle and electric frypan. The IGA supermarket is in the next block and good coffee across the road....

Stayed here with family after returning from a three week holiday on the island. The room we had was spacious had a little kitchenette and was spotlessly clean. It was somewhat of a last minute decision to stay in Emu Park instead of Rocky and the lady at the desk went out of her way to get us checked into...

Two bedroom apartment on the first floor. Quite small and dark with limited seating for four people. Second bedroom also had a double bed with no option to change to two singles, so teenage children had to share a bed. Bathroom layout not appropriate for families when more than one person needs to access at the room at same time....

Your review has been noted however several comments are unfounded. During check in it was confirmed the booking was for 4 adults at which time you advised 2 of those adults were teenage daughters. I explained the bed in the second bedroom was currently set up as a King double and I could separate this into King singles. You replied...

The rooms are lovely and large. The owners are so friendly and always make you feel welcome. It is located right in the middle of town and so easy to get around and it is very reasonably priced. There is nowhere else I would rather stay.

Right in the centre of town handy to shops, attractions and eating places. The museum is straight across the road and the Singing Ship & Anzac memorial are a short comfortable walk away. The history is worthwhile looking into and the nearby shaded parks pleasant to while the time away. Reception was very friendly.
