We stayed for three nights and were impressed by the friendly staff. Our cabin was self contained and there is a laundry in site. The cabin was well maintained and we would be happy to recommend this holiday park to anyone wanting a holiday that doesn't cost too much, in an idyllic place. We walked across to the Tavern each...

I stayed here for a night in one of their cabins. The cabin was clean, with a flat screen TV and wireless internet. Although in Karumba, telstra 3G internet coverage is extremely limited, and this affected the speed of the internet available through the in room wifi. The staff a friendly and willing to assist.

We haven't actually left Ash's yet. We were supposed to be here for 4 nights, but thanks to a couple of misadventures we'll probably be here for 2 weeks. Right from the start we felt welcomed. The cafe serves up great food all day, the cabins (and everywhere else) are very clean, functional and located in lovely setting, and the...

Stayed 2 nights as part of a rail tour. Clean and basic cabins, 1 double bed, 2 bunk beds, ensuite, small kitchen, and deck. The choice of accommodation in Karumba is by nature limited to mostly camping. Did not eat there, but heard excellent comments. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Friendly, and hospitable owners who like all in...

Please note, my review is about the café - not the holiday units. During a three day stay at Karumba Point, I had dinner x1 and breakfast x2 at Ash's (14 & 15 April, 2016) and enjoyed my eating experience a lot. All my dishes were nicely prepared and cooked to perfection (i.e. grilled fish, scrambled eggs, garden salad). In...

I stayed (once again) at Ash's last night on business. As always the cabin was spotless and all the 'little' things were done; like milk in the fridge for a cup of tea when I got to the room late! These make all the difference and i thoroughly enjoyed the stay..

My wife and I stayed at ash's in october in a cabin. It was a pleasant quick stay.. upon check-in i was givin the run down, In which i was told (seriously) that there is no dancing on the tables. I found that odd as i am 31 and way passed the party days. I must just look like a...

With the check in information we do try to cover most things and with the experience over time of some not so quiet or well behaved guests at times...

We stayed in a self contained unit which was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had a great shower. Being out at the Point in Karumba was ideal with spectacular sunsets every evening. Ash's Cafe serves incredible fish and chips and the plate of fresh salad is definitely value for money and is enough to feed two people. Yvonne is a whiz...

Thanks so much for your lovely review - we are always genuinely interested in how our guests feel about their stay with us and sometimes when its busy we don't get the chance to personally follow this up before departure time. Karumba offers a wonderful opportunity to get away from it all, relax and unwind and we hope to play...

We recently spent 2 glorious weeks in Karumba, just fishing and relaxing. Our first night we stayed in a cabin very small and cramped in even for 2 people . We stayed the remainder of our holiday in a unit, which was very roomy and very clean - The bed ,linen pillows (we took our own ),fridge AND AIR CON...

This is a great spot and the cabins that we stayed in were very well equipped and clean but there was no way of escaping from the heat. The air conditioning is pre set and you cannot get cool. The bedroom is at the end of the cabin furthest from the air conditioning so you just cannot sleep as it...
