Be aware of this motel...Run down.....electrical fittings hanging out of the wall...air conditioner 100 years old and made so much noise it could be heard a kilometre away. Matressess in our room were all ripped along the sides.....shower was not clean. Had intended staying longer because of the position across the road from a swimming beach but one night was... More

We went for breakfast. Food was basic, eggs Benedict and bacon and eggs took 20 minutes to serve and were luke warm. Ordered fruit toast because we were still hungry, that took another 10 minutes. Nobody else was having breakfast only 4 others having drinks. Servings were on the small side. Staff were friendly but disorganized. A nice spot for... More

A place to sleep or if you get lucky one night at the pub. But not a place to be inspired by. We stayed 3 nights and the staff were good and helpful. The best thing about it is that the beach is right in front of the hotel. It needs to be renovated.

Thanks for your comments and yes we are building a new motel which will be completed in 12 months. It will be 100 meters north of our current position and still on the beach front. It will be 3 levels and have a pool on the roof. Very exciting times ahead. More

We stayed for 2 nights friendly managers, but no security in rooms . we opened a window that had no screens or safety grills. the whole frame came apart. if a child had have opened and pushed to hard there could have been a nasty accident. The hot tap in the bathroom couldnt be turned right off so ran continually.... More

The motel is really well located but the rooms definitely need some tender loving care. The room next to ours the pipes were noisy when they started them. The rooms were OK but they do need some work done to them. It appears that the motel is doing some renovations so hopefully this will progress to the rooms too. But... More

We stayed for one night only in a double room which was exceedingly small for two people. The upholstered chairs were so badly stained that one was reluctant to use. Other furnishings were in extremely poor state of repair including missing door and draw handles as we as holes on the inside of the front door. Did not appear to... More

Lovely owner. Great location by the sea. We had balcony overlooking the sea. Plenty free parking. Clean. Comfy beds. Fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle which was very useful. Spacious room. TV with lots of channels. Decor a little dated but great value for money. Air con was adequate.

....the price is right for a one night stay...however, dont expect a good nights sleep. The security lights outside windows do not get turned off until very early hours of morning, and curtains do not block out light. Front and back door access so great for catching cross seas breezes. Cars can be parked right outside front or back doors.... More

This is an older style Motel in a great location right opposite the beach. Even though it is on the Esplanade the location is quiet. The onsite managers are extremely pleasant & welcoming. The rooms are dated but provide Clean Good Quality Linen and complementary toiletries. The bed was comfortable. Our room provided Clean Crockery & Cutlery, a Fridge, Kettle,... More
