Our room was quite dated but spacious and very clean. Excellent elevated location with plenty of walking trails and bike tracks (bikes are available for hiring) and lots of wineries and restaurants nearby. The staff in reception and dining were outstanding with their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Looking forward to another stay later on this year.

I recently spent 1 night at Lyndoch Hill and I had a very happy stay. The staff are excellent and very accommodating and the rooms are outdated but very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in our room and could also hire DVDs for free from the reception. We had a swim in the pool which was very... More

Firstly this is a motel, and not a hotel but that shouldn't be seen as a negative. The room we had was spacious with a double and single bed, table and chairs, hair drier, ironing board and iron, and a wardrobe, there was plenty of space, the room was airy and clean. The bathroom was not the most modern in... More

Wish we had a look at the reviews before staying here, booked through Sunseeker Holidays well lets say never again!! The rooms are horrible, very old fashioned furniture and the bathroom is gross. Tiles are cracked no shower door or curtain. Cannot believe the prices they charge for these rooms. Dinner in the restaurant was average - lamb rack does... More

Rooms are NOT what they look like in photos. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The food is overpriced and comes in very small portions. Organised breakfast to be delivered at 6.30am; we had to leave at 7.30am and the breakfast still hadn't turned up! My iPod was lost here (used at wedding reception). They assumed no responsibility... Drove all the way from the Gold Coast expecting a nice 4 star accommodation after the seeing the pictures and expecting a comfortable place to rest our heads after the long drive and what we got was a motel with a poor shower and out dated furnishings.Don't be fooled by the classy pictures because if anything was airbrushed it is... If u can get past the old dogs and their smells which is the first thing u encounter at reception and understand its budget accommodation then there is some cheerfulness - the balcony in your room out to nature, the lovely gardens, it's clean enough apart from dead flies in the window sill but forget swimming in the pool! Lyndoch Hill is a motel. A large number of people who have reviewed Lyndoch Hill seem to be confusing it with boutique accomodation or a hotel. I was horrifed when I read the reviews and realised we were booked in for 2 nights but I was very pleasantly surprised. Yes it's dated but there is nothing really wrong with the... More
