Travelled through the Barossa Valley and needed somewhere to stop for the night....The Barossa Gateway motel fit the bill very well with the updated room and the owners Russell and Vanessa who were very helpful. There is a small air-conditioning unit in the room which is older but worked perfectly and not noisy like other motels I've stayed. It's great...

The couple that run the motel are very nice and friendly and give the place a bed and breakfast feel. The room is OK for what you pay. It is basic and clean. Ideal for someone who is going to be spending most of their time out and about and just needs a bed to crash.

I stayed here for 4 nights in between leaving my house which was up for sale and moving. Ok... so here is the thing. This place is a budget motel and im not even going to try and convince you otherwise. The thing with humans is we tend to associate Budget with bargain as if we are getting something greater...

I stayed here for one night due to work in nearby Stockport. Over the last 12 months I have stayed in various motels in this region due to work in insurance. I can say that the staff here bent over backwards to serve mine and my colleagues needs. Due to having to start early in the morning, they took our...

This was an overnight stop before getting to Adelaide and for a brief visit to some wineries. The weather was awful, however our room was clean and warm and also had free wifi. We picked up some takeaway and had it with some wine in our room ( plates etc) provided on request. A very pleasant stay

We stayed here for 5 nights as we celebrated our 35th anniversary in The Barossa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Russell and Vanessa really looked after us. They upgraded us and treated to a bottle of champers and were helpful with the usual touristy things. It is true to say that it is not The Ritz but it is...

Russell and Vanessa are excellent owners of this accommodation. It's clean and location is perfect. Lots of eateries for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Supermarket is nearby and lots of wineries to checkout and Maggie Beers farmhouse is not far.

This motel is on the old side but still comfortable and clean for a one night stay. The new owners are a very lovely young couple who have only been at the motel for a short time and are improving things when they can. There is no where close to eat but plenty of options in town.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, for the same price as 1 at the more fancy hotel. Russell and his wife" sorry did not catch your name", were most accomodating host. Only motel where I have had my room serviced each day, could have had fresh towels if we had so required. Room was a motel room,...

I stayed in this motel whilst staging a proposal for my now fiancé. It was great to have a brilliant young family willing to go the extra mile for us on our special weekend to make sure the surprise was kept and the moment was celebrated. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of the staff, this is a...
