When I arrived at Robe House I found a note pinned up telling me that the owners had double-booked my room. However they had booked me into the motel next door and-extremely thoughtfully and kindly-left a bottle of champgne for me in the fridge in the motel bedroom. Although the motel was not a patch on what I was expecting...

Hi Colin, thanks for taking the time to review Robe House. I am so sorry that one, we didn't get to meet you, and two, we made a mess of your booking. We have been running Robe House for 20 years now, and we still make mistakes!! To compound matters, we didn't realise that we were double booked until the...

We had 2 nights here while on a great ocean road trip from Sydney to Adelaide, found the cottage to be delightful a perfect B&B . The owners had left enough supplies for us to have a decent breakfast and the accommodation was extremely comfortable , great bed and an excellent shower room, and a very nice lounge / kitchen...

Thanks for your review of Robe House. Many of our guests wish they had an extra day to explore Robe which is definitely worth a 2 night stop. Robe House is situated at the quiet end of town, but is only a short walk back to the hotels and shops. So glad that you enjoyed your stay. Happy travels. Andrew

We, family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young adults), stayed 2 night in Robe in December 2016. We stayed in apartment with 2 bedrooms with large kitchen, living room and bathroom. The apartment had all needed amenities and from the kitchen we had exit to the garden with furniture and barbecue. Very clean and comfortable and also the location...

Excellent place to stay, the apartment, well more of a cottage was self contained, with all the usual amenities in place. We were on a road trip (the Great Ocean Way, and enjoyed a day and night in Robe before setting off for Adelaide. There didn't seem to be much to do in Robe itself but as all we wanted...

Hi Philip, thanks for your review. Robe is a small fishing village set on a beautiful stretch of coast. We are really lucky to have many cafes and restaurants in town, but our best asset is the scenery which on a sunny day is spectacular. Robe House is situated by the marina and is a great starting point to explore...

The Robe House is a very nice BnB with great rooms and a nice garden that all visitors can use. The beds had very nice quilted covers. Service was good and the fridge had all needed for a good breakfast. Recommended to all visitors to Robe. Value for money is good

A lovely old house, tastefully restored and furnished in Victorian style,. Very comfortable accommodation, close to the pubs, restaurants , shops. Fresh fruit, juice, eggs etc are provided for a DIY breakfast with all you need to prepare it in the self contained accommodation. The pretty garden and verandah make a relaxing place to sit. Easy to find and parking on site available. Stayed four days and found it was a good base from which to explore Robe and surrounds. About what we expected with a historic Aussie B&B, breakfast in the fridge but "do it yourself", limited cereal range, good coffee and tea selection. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, wireless available but no...

We were very lucky to stay in the lovely separate room at Robe House. I think it was no 5. It was a lovely bright clean room with a superb bathroom set in a lovely garden. Would highly recommend a stay if you are visiting Robe.

Thanks for your review of Apt 5 at Robe House. We have been lucky this year as we have had some summer rain which has made it much easier to keep the garden looking good during the dry season. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. Kind regards, Andrew

After the gourmet breakfasts before and after Robe House we were slightly disappointed to find a DIY breakfast in the fridge. We appreciate now that this is how you do it but we had not been forewarned by Trailfinders. As it happens, this suited us on this particular day although sliced white bread?? Thanks for your review of Robe House. It is very frustrating for us to hear that your agent is not selling Robe House correctly.
