We stayed a couple of nights at the West Kimberley Lodge in Derby about a week ago. It was the most basic caravan park we have stayed at so far on our journey around Australia, small park, small sites which was fine since we spent most of our time in Derby visiting friends and seeing all that Derby has to...

We stayed the last weeks in some caravan parks. But this was the worst of all. The equipment in the kitchen was really good, the toilets also clean. But the stuff was not that friendly. One guy told us that we drove to fast with our car, which wasn't true. the check out is at 10am, ten minutes before other...

A lovely little caravan park , so quiet. Good shade for all sites. Amenities are clean and the pool a god send for me, who does not tolerate the heat. Derby a pleasant stop, a little longer than expected as repairs needed. The jetty a wonderful place to sit and keep cool in those hot times.

20 sites plus 4 overflow site. We booked two nights and received an overflow site that didn't have astro tuff but was wide enough for our car to go beside van - not all sites had this!! Husband and wife run park who we found helpful. Pat booked our Horizontal Falls Tour for us when we ran to book a...

Small park with only 20 or so sites. Sites and amenities very clean. Nice to have a bit of Astro turf onsite for under our awning. Good touch after all the dust in the outback, little noisy from locals but not really too much of a bother overall. Some sites may be difficult to reverse into but usually onlookers happy...

Booked 2 nites/2 camp sites by phone. Unable to get 3 nights here so sourced another Park. Phoned to cancel booking and was THEN told they have a 48hour cancellation policy and I would now be charged $80, which was then taken out of my credit card!! Normal protocol decrees that you are made aware of a 48hour cancellation policy...

My wife and I did not get past the reception office. As we drove into the park at snails pace a male started abusing my wife about the speed we were driving. No introductions just an abrupt unfriendly downright disgraceful attitude from a person who turned out to be the owner. As his wife was booking us in he started...

We stayed for two nights in motel type accommodation. A very clean, basic room with very comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities with large shower recess. Veranda table and chairs outside room. A bonus was the shared, very clean and surprisingly large kitchen for the rooms with large refrigerator, microwave, stove with oven and lots of utensils and crockery etc....

Excellent, small (20 sites with trees) caravan park (cabins too) with modern, clean amenities operated by Pat and Sean. Every site has artificial grass (only had 268 mm rain this year!). Lovely bbq and open seating area. Staying for a week and will return. CP doesn't cater for children so peace and quiet for us older folk. Laundry facilities and...
