My husband, grandson, and I stayed at the lodge during Memorial Day weekend, 2016. The owners were so friendly! They made us feel like family! Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We had front and back doors to our room which allowed us easy access to the outdoors. There was a fire in the pit with rocking chairs to...

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at this lodge and didn't want to go home! Its a place nestled in the mountains with a beautiful view of the gorge and mountains at every turn. The lodge is located just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of main cities in South Carolina, but when you here you feel like...

What happens when nostalgia, cleanliness, million dollar views, meeting new people and enjoying s'mores around the firepit all come together...a slice of heaven. Hosted by the delightful Auman family, The Saluda Mountain Lodge is a perfect destination. Will I return? You betcha!

The view is pretty in front of the lodge but the back is fantastic! This quaint lodge is family owned and run. Its clean and comfortable. They have received recognition for their housekeeping/cleanliness. There is a common room stocked with books, games and comfortable seating. On the back lawn is seating to admire the vista, a nice fire ring, and...

If you're tired of the corporate owned joints that charge you an arm and a leg for a completely bland experience then look no further than Saluda Mountain Lodge. This family owned and operated lodge offers an amazing view, beautifully kept rooms, and most of all - personality. Our suite featured lovely flower arrangements as well as a hand painted...

Lovely place run by a family, not just random employees. They treated us as friends and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms were freshly cleaned and very comfortable; they had a cozy, rustic feel that went very well with the area. The back door leads right to one of the best views we could hope for that took our...

Those were the things that attracted me to Saluda Mountain Lodge at first; The most breath taking view you could imagine. I was fortunate to get a good deal on Hotels.com but had I known this place was family-owned, WELL taken care of and not to mention the hospitality and friendliness of Wendy (the owner), I would have forked out...

This hotel is way over priced, you have great views of the mountains when you can actually see them. For the price of $150.00 a night you should get more than a look at the mountains. Very noisy, we could hear everything our neighbors were doing and I mean everything, we could even hear what they were watching on their...

We loved this place. S'mores at night, hot cider always, views are amazing, and the family who runs it are FANTASTIC! If you are looking for a family or couple getaway, this is your place. We will never stay anywhere else....and only 10 minutes to Hendersonville.
